So on console That is determined by the modder when the mod is created . As fo PC , Sorry I am on a PS5 so I do not know that .

What is the benefit/difference between manure and slurry? Also what is "liquid manure" as there is a silo for this, but not sure when it applies?

They both are equal as far as I know . Liquid manure is slurry by another name 😎 I even think the rate of application is the same for both even with precision farming 🤔

Yes , try one of the autoload trailers like the Autoload Pack By: raulycristi1 [VSR Modding Sur You can fill it at those buy points and then either unload it at a factory or just on the ground 😎

I know it's been 8 months since this came out but I'm having difficulty with this. I have a pig pen (no barn - basic one) - can that have the manure extension added? Also there appears to be no way to provide straw to the pigs in the pen? Thirdly do the pigs have their food requirements already met to produce manure? To be clear your title says animal pens but does this only apply to the barns and isn't available to pens (the cheapest base game pig and cow pastures)?

Thanks for your question Von . The rule of thumb for cow and pig pen/barns / pastures ,is that you must have Straw in order to make manure . If a pen or barn does not accept straw , it will not make manure . As for food . The type of food does not affect the quantity of manure as far as I know . So any animal enclosure that takes straw , you will be able to place a manure silo or extention near it to collect manure 😎

Hi there . Actually cows do not eat straw , straw is used for bedding and then it mixes with their poop and you get Manure . This is the base game cow pen and the straw goes in where you put the food . Loose straw , or if you have bales , use a straw blower at the same place .🤓

Also pigs , and depending on the map or if you are on PC , Horses and chickens . But as for base game it is only Cows and pigs 😃

There are several modded manure silos in the mod hub , look under Silos and there are a few that will spin 360 , just can't remember which one 🤔@@justinwheeler5614

So you will need to get a slurry spreader and then you can fill it at an animal barn that has slurry ( Liquid manure )

You can use one manure silo for more than one barn but they would have to be close together .

If the manure silo is not working for you , try the manure extension . 🤓

@@LooneyFarmGuy no hate btw it’s pretty basic I’m not using free toggle mode for pigs I’m using a normal pigsty for cows I’m using cow barn with feeding robot there both on a hundred health
