bro! this tutorial is actually so good, I wish though that you showed what the sound sounds like as you're adding all these effects/parameters to see how its changing and what it does, I guess I could do that on my own but I found myself falling behind because I didn't understand what the chain was changing about the original sound, or why I should add it in the first place that was only occasional though, most of the time you did an awesome job of explaining what you did to keep the sound tight. all around great video!!

Switching from FL to Ableton is already such a great choice because I found your channel. So excited to learn from you!

Isnt it funny how that works? I literally switched from Ableton to FL. Best of luck to your career homie. lol

@@shoutloud5945 oh man now I need to know why 😂
@neek01 Жыл бұрын
@@JVSTMVXX I use both and constantly switch between both, as i have a very similar workflow in both. In my personal opinion, i think the piano roll in Ableton is straight ass, i hate the fact i constantly have to resize it. Sure you can drag it up and press CTRL + ALT + L to open or close it, but whenever you press Tab to go to mixer and back, it goes back to a 30% of the screen. Small things like this is why i can't fully swap to Ableton, as it loves to waste my time for no reason at all. Also the fact you have to manually set the length of a MIDI clip. At the same time Ableton is so much better at audio comping and i like the mixer more (because it actually shows the peaks per track), which is why i often do my vocals + mastering in Ableton over FL.
@JVSTMVXX Жыл бұрын
@@neek01 this is honestly SO HELPFUL, thank you! I have been back and forth. FL is finally making more sense to me so I’ve been using it again. But I still just have so much to learn as a foundation regardless.

@ashFB2B Жыл бұрын
basically lets u eq the mono and stereo (mids and sides) of one sound instead of the whole sound example - you cut the lows from just the sides of a sound to keep it thicc in the low end
