I'm not sure though. If the rose is white, food coloring of any color will work on it however if the rose is in natural red color or in dark color I don't think the food color would work. Thank you. ❤

Hi! Have you tried putting the flower in resin? Does the color smudge or fade?

Hi there, yes I tried putting the flower in resin and it does not bleed or fade. I posted the sample picture of the flower in resin at the end of this video. The letters M, R and A are dyed with food color. The color will not bleed or fade as long as you sealed everything with a hairspray or a clear spray paint. Thank you. ❤
