How to Color Grade on Da Vinci Resolve | For Beginners | BMPCC6K Pro

I am a beginner.. I have few questions. First, how you ad node? 2. I have nikon z6. it's 8 bit video. can I directly upload videos? And do color correction like you here? 3. if I make 30 short videos and some are outside some inside. So lights and colors are different. Can I apply to all color correction or I need every video separately correct? Sorry for all this questions.. but I don't know how all that goes. I see that I need to have ninja v or prores raw.. but I don't have that.

You definitely can edit 8bit in Da Vinci! The only distinction that I’m allowed to do that you cannot is when I decode using the clip and I change temp setting - that section is for braw only. But all other colors tabs can be used for color grading for your camera. As for the issue of different lighting - I will apply the same grade to each clip, but then I will go back to the 2nd node (color corrections) and either lower the brightness or boost the brightness depending on what that specific clip needs. You add a node by right clicking in the node area, and select “add node”, and then add a “corrector” node.
