The met greys are becoming a difficult colour to match over the years , i just never can get that green tint to the colour is it me in my old age lol No one else sees it but eye can . . Great vid Andrey keep trucking lad 👍👍👍👍👍

I’m sure you have seen DDE’s crashed McLaren 720 with the special paint. How would you go about matching something like that? Has LNC reached out to them about a collab? Would be awesome to see two great KZbinrs come together to fix that awesome machine.

Yes I have seen it, i was trying to find the episode on the “custom” paint-job but couldn’t. It shouldn’t be a problem to match and blend, not easy but not impossible. I would like to see how it was painted.

Hey there do u have any experience in painting individual bmw colors such as frozen silver metallic which is the color of my 440i my bumper has so many chips been told by many ill never get a match close

Yea, ppg paint has a good selection of the color and a very close match is achievable…i use the camera system to get the best variant before doing my sprayouts. If its a new bumper i always use the old bumper to use as a test panel for the color match before painting the actual new bumper.

Hi andrey , it is me again. Great video again. Happy to see you using a clear base coat for better blending in . So you do not see a transition. Well done. To avoid the time in searching the new variants , we just go faster with sanding the front fender and the rear fender …. Paint the whole right side. It is a little clear coat and base coat more that you need. But it is worth it on new cars only. Another thing is to use a colorimeter . This shows you already a correction in your recipe … it is always good enough for blending in. The name is - rapidmatch tm Go . You should think about using it….- we use standox with the model -genius- andvit works perfectly…- one guy goes every morning to the cars that has to be painted today and check the colors with this genius - mixing it and ready to go. Only if you blend in what meanwhile everybody does . Keep going with yourperfect videos and work.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I try to avoid painting any extra panels when not necessary. I think spending a little extra time making the color match is more beneficial than blending, thats what i try to do! 😁👍🏻

You are welcome…- but time is money. And I am just talking from new cars . In your case painting the whole right side would make sense. As in my opinion I can see a difference in the video between front door and fender . As you know even clear coat changes the color to the next part. Regards 👏🏽💪🏽😎

Thats true clear does alter the color, on some paint more than others. But then you are dealing with the same problem near the trunk/rear bumper and hood/front bumper if painting the whole side 😬 thus possibly opening up a can of more problems. Luckily insurance will pay for color match and spray out cards 😁👍🏻

@@LncPainter yes that’s perfect that insurance pay for it. But the surface of the side part to trunk and front fender to hood is very small and thin. There you can neglect a small difference …difference between plastic bumpers and the metal parts from the car has to be neglected as well. There are numerous of brand new cars with crazy difference from bumpers to the car. Because the bumpers are painted out of fabric . We tried many times ….- at new cars only. Measure hue with our genius and take always the corrected version.fastes way to paint if blending is not possible, even if we had to paint the whole side … have fun and merry Christmas and a happy new year already now.☝💥😎
