You did a great job and this is one of my favorite flowers that I color!! I would definitely like to see more videos on how you blend. I struggle with knowing where to put warm colors and highlights and stuff.

It's so nice to have an artist that uses Prismacolor rather then Faber-Castell in tutorials. Many people that are using a tutorial in the first place are not up to such a high end pencil purchase yet. And I think you did a lovely job with your work. Thank you.

Yeah this is my problem, I apply way to much pressure and I want immediate payoff, instead of layering... Great tutorial... I have all her coloring books, but have been struggling, but finally got to get mine today😊 I have all these colors, so im going to try doing this when I get home.....i know it's going to take time with learning how to apply pressure, it's so hard for me.. Either I apply to much, or in not applying enough... Practice makes perfect i guess😂
@KimWhiteFoxDesignDen5 жыл бұрын
I still apply way too much pressure, I can't help myself and actually hate harder lead pencils because it doesn't give me that instant gratification with colour application. I've just accepted this now, this is my style 😂❤️x

I love this! I love coloring bright and did so in Pigment. Unfortunately, my iPad is too old and Apple no longer updates the iOS for it so Pigment no longer works and I'm back to paper. I got Prismacolors for Christmas but everything I color is dark or dull. I'm guessing that I need to practice more? Off to look at any other videos you've done. Have a nice day 🐱
@KimWhiteFoxDesignDen6 жыл бұрын
Awww that's such a shame about Pigment, I love digital colouring and some of my work is featured in their app. Their such a nice company, very ethical towards their artists! Sadly I don't have many other vids, however, this will change in 2019 as I want to focus more on this channel. Good luck with getting back to normal colouring, Prismacolor pencils will always have a huge place in my heart...can't beat the brightness of them! ❤️⭐

I have used prismacolor and polychromos and can not get the color intensity that I see here. What am I missing?
@KimWhiteFoxDesignDen5 жыл бұрын
ashcondad1 to be honest, it could be many things. For me personally, I’m not a fan of my Polys because I have to layer loads to achieve the same vibrancy that is get easily with prismas. Also, it’s worth nothing that I’m a heavy handed colourist and therefore my colours tend to lay down quite bright! Paper can also affect how intense a colour appears, and I find that if the paper is too silky or glossy, then colours are more muted or harder to lay down. If the paper has a slight bit of tooth to it, it seems to help. I’m no professional but just personal experience. Hope this helps a little xx
