I never knew that different color concealers canceled out different colors on your face but that definitely makes sense! You covered that dark circles/hyperpigmentation so well. You literally can’t see it at all anymore. 😱

Thank you for doing a tutorial about this!❤️ My great grandfather on my father’s side was from India, and I’m sure I inherited this darkness from his side because I have had this since I can remember as it started on my eyelids. Also, I don’t know any of my mother’s family that has this. I remember when I was in my twenties and I didn’t wear a lot of makeup and a coworker scolded me for wearing too dark eyeshadow. When I told her it was natural, she felt badly for being so rude. I am almost sixty now and the darkness shows more now under my eyes, especially when my allergies flare up. Sleep does not improve it nor eye creams but getting enough sleep and keeping the area moisturized and being diligent with self care is vital.

Thank you so much for the appreciation and I am so glad that someone actually understand that dark circles can be inherited. I also faces the same problem as when I was in school my class monitor always used to say don't wear eye shadow and I had to wipe my eyelid to prove that I am not. With age dark curcles do get darker as the skin gets thinner and the blood vessels under are more visible (that's what I read so far). I do agree that care makes them look better but they are here to stay forever I guess infact can't imagine my face without dark cirlces now 😊😊

Wonderful! Two things I really liked: your dark circles are genuine, and your end result is not valet. I hv worse dark circles AND melasma, and I use a dark yellow corrector. Will try this. Just one question: how does it hold out in sweaty weather? Could you post a picture post say 4-5 hours?

Hi hun, sorry for a late reply. Thank you so much for the appreciation. My concealer does hold out for longer periods of time like I have gone for 8+ hours. I do use one trick to make it stick.. Don't worry dear, I'm having even more severe dark circles and my complexion is very fair so you could understand how bad it looks.. suggest me which corrector will suit me best already using orange LA concealer need one more to cover although it works well but it doesn't cover circles completely..

Oh that's so true. Colour correct is actually pretty tricky as previously when I used to colour correct, the corrector always ended up showing from underneath the foundation.
