There were many protests in Poland against removing trees and paving public spaces in cities. Trees are a part of the solution, but also using too much hard surfaces like concrete will increase the temperature and decrease water retention, which is bad if you have flash floods on the rise. There should be both trees and unpaved green areas wherever it's possible.

Literally trees. I live in the mountains and there’s a patch of trees growing over a large section of my road. When I pass that spot on my side by side it could be 100f out and 30° cooler under that canopy. You almost get the chills. Now I’ve planted 58 trees on my property. I’ll get lower temps and some nuts and fruits. My progeny will too.

If climate warming is the problem, which it isn't, then trees the real solution.

97% of scientists from around the globe agree that man made climate change is real. No humans agree on almost anything at that percentage. There is no scam, only scientific facts that don’t need an opinion to be correct, the data is verifiable. Stop your silliness.

The cities have buildings, pavement, roads etc. which heat in the sun. I used to live 30 kms (approx 20 miles) out of the city and the difference between 15klms ( 10 miles) in the evenings was approx 15 degrees (about 20 degrees) on a hot summer evenings. Humans have constructed cities which retain heat and then it is called climate change. This is nothing to do with greenhouse gas.

The Netherlands is so bad at this. With how overpopulated we are cities have been getting denser and municipalities have been more focused on removing trees from cities rather than adding them. Not to mention we barely have any nature left to provide shade. But it's great to see America actively taking steps to improve their cities.

How about building cooling towers in community buildings aka wind catchers, like the one's in other countries. Reduce your electricity consumption for a/c. Put them in schools or other community buildings for people to cool off if the grid goes down. Look into ancient windcatcher cooling technology. Also, there is the Persian ice house, or how to make ice in the desert

So more income don't make more people. That's not helping. Just put some nice drought tolerant plants in big pots on top of your house there and once or twice a month give them a liter or two of water. Even plants that make some fruits too would be great. Shade and Food Grown on your ROOF. And don't throw the leaves away. Put them on the dirt in the pot around the plant stem. Instant mulch and fertilizer too.

The summary of climate change is easy. It is the change of humidity in atmosphere, which produce between the (land)and the(seas & oceans) on the other hand... Occurring of rains, snow, storms, and floods at time and in unexpected places, confirm my theory(the change in the directions of winds)which must be balanced... How to reduce the heat of the earth and atmosphere? We must supply the earth with a natural cooling places... Results: ---------- 1- To balance the water vapor which produces between the( ground)and the(seas and oceans )... 2- To balance the pressures of the air in the atmosphere... 3- To balance the directions of winds which caused the climate change... 4- To control upon the storms and harricans... 5- To revive the the first theory of climate change (dynamic horizontal movement). 6- To balance the percentage of gases forming the atmosphere. NOTE :The lack of water vapor is of land not of seas and oceans... These studies had completed and sent on July 26th 2000... Yousif A Tobiya

If we plants more trees, more CO2 will taken out, good for environment and produce the global warming effects.
