How to Combine & Create with 2 IOD Paint Inlays- 2 Ways - in 3 hours

Two canvases at once, while one dries I am working on the other. These were created in about 3 hours (not including dry times). I use primed drop cloth, 2 sheets of IOD Grisaille Toile Paint Inlay and a few sprigs from IOD Rose Chintz Paint Inlay. Parts of video are sourced from an IODTV live. The Sistas had a live today with the paint inlay. Spritzing the carrier paper (grid side) w water before laying it into the paint helps the paper stretch a tad. Cool tip. 🥰🥰

Michelle.. I noticed that you didn't spray the inlay after you placed it into the paint and before braying it. Well at least, I don't remember you doing it lol 😜 Did you just cut that part from the video or can you actually lay them down into the paint and just use a brayer on them and not spray them with water? I think I recall you using water on them when you laid them into the paint on other videos. If you can do it both ways, do you see a difference in the outcome?! Thanks Michelle ❣️❤

It depends on how wet the paint is- as long as it’s wet enough, you don’t need the extra water. Honestly, I need to go back and rewatch this to see the exact part you;re referring to. But the key is wet paint. 😊
