Hey man I jump from mlb 22 to 24. I played rtts and I have a pitcher created. In mlb 22 the base state cap was at 50 so I assume the same with mlb 24. I got my velo to 45 and I noticed that my velo won't go any further than 45 on my 4SFB. Is 45 the cap now or is this a bug?

What do u mean by base stat cap? Because you can get a 99 velo if you unlock a higher rarity archetype by doing the tasks and rewards program in road to the show

@TCYGaming0 I get that. I'm talking about just the basic attributes that increases or decreases each game or during workout events. In mlb22 it would say max:50. In mlb24 I don't see a cap, but I've increased my velo attribute twice now but it even though it says "attribute increased" it still remains at 45.

Im pretty sure it’s still 50 and u start with a lot of these attributes at 33

@TCYGaming0 it must be a bug then. I've been going all in to max my 4sfb velo and taking advantage of the 2x bonus on rookie mode. I monitored it just to make sure I wasn't just seeing things and sure enough, even though it says "attribute increased" it was still at 45.

I might know why. What’s your archetype? Because if you didn’t choose the velocity one , then you get a lower max.
