Miraak's voice overhaul is a nice small mod too that changes miraak's voice similar to Darth Vader's xDD It's a nice mod especially if you have the mod with the Miraak follower.

Welcome back! Solstheim is an area I never really enjoyed my first (and only) play through of it. I've been on the lookout for something that would make it more enjoyable and you highlighted some incredible mods I have never heard of! There was something in every category that I want to add to my current build. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. Two compliments on your editing: 1) I love the dark highlight behind the subtitles. It makes it much easier to read, but they weren't intrusive to the video. 2) The shot at 4:17! Girl! The framing is beautiful with the subtle curve of the moon in the background against the solid angular structure of the lighthouse. The ashen sky was a great choice to highlight the lighthouse's function, and the colors are beautiful. I had to pause the video just to enjoy this shot more! It would make a good loading screen or Main Menu Replacer. Gorgeous work! I hope you are feeling a bit better, but do take care of yourself first. Wishing you well in this new year.

This mod compilation is fantastic and exactly what I was looking for! I’m developing two characters right now: a Skaal who has come of age and wants to explore Solsteim and Skyrim (coming back for the Dragonborn main questline at the end of their story), and a Dunmer refugee that starts in Solsteim. I’ve got all my mods for mechanic overhauls and additions: morrowloot, combat, temperature+survival needs, religion, and races. I got burnt out on Skyrim around the time that Dragonborn Gallery started to be intensely covered here on youtube, so of course I got that for the mainland. But, I didn’t have anything that touched Solsteim besides the tiny shrine additions from Wintersun. I don’t want mods that add massive overworld locations, as I feel like the surface area of Solsteim is crowded enough! I’ve been away from the game and modding for so long that a lot of the armor mods I used that have loot distribution haven’t been updated in years and are now broken/bugged, so I’ve been trying to find ones that are at most 2K, as I feel 4K armors then requires 4K mods for weapons, then environmental details, and so on, which is… yeah, no. Unlike most people, I don’t want my PC to be my furnace, and electricity bills aren’t super cheap in my region right now.

*Shouts offscreen* "Honey!! Bard College Graduate has uploaded again!!" Good to see you again bard. I've been watching for your uploads and what a return. Solstheim is my all time favourite area in Skyrim- Well, Morrowind. I always make sure to make a beeline for this place and sort out raven rock then go and help the Skaal to get Stahlrim Smithing, second best in the game in terms of light armour and with Frost Enchantments can out DPS Dragon weapons I love the overhauls. And I'll be sure to seek out that Skaal Village one so I can move into that house. I was most dismayed to find out the great hall doesn't have a single bed for travelers. I'll also be getting the Earthquake and Dramatic Lava plume. That'll so help add to the atmosphere of the island. The boat you can buy will also help quite a bit Those creature mods will be an adventure. I still have flashbacks to my first cliff racer attack back in Elder Scrolls 3 and when I heard my prison friend became a hero and wiped them all out I cheered so hard that I turned the Soul cairn into a live area. But SILT STRIDERS!! What a great mod It was good to hear from you again Bard, this was an amazing video. Glad to have you back. See you next week!!

@@BardsCollegeGraduate I thankfully got Skyrim working again at the cost of my character so I've had to start again. Going back to Skaal Village I found not only are there no spare beds but Tharsten, the Nord Archaeologist studying them also has no bed. He just chills in the longhall drinking all night with Fanari. But also Elda trades with people also, more commonly the dark elves of Raven Rock who periodically make their way up north as well as Hunters who often visit the village (Most likely for First Hunter Wulf). And then most recently the Last Dragonborn which is us. There is good reason to keep a large bed or two somewhere even if it's just tunneling into the mountain right next to them to make a cave

Nice overhaul BCG. I started laughing at the depiction of the earthquake though. As someone that grew up in a earthquake prone and volcanic country, I can say that this isn't how people react, or even how you are taught in school to react. It is funny though and great to see such imagination and dedication to produce a mod like this. Perhaps the mod creator was jumping for joy they had survived :D Now as you are someone that grew up in a Nordic region, do medieval houses really look like the Skaal village mod?

I think his Kagoutis and Guars are a tad bit better with the guards riding them and the different variants, but yeah sadly no Nix-Hounds :( I thought they are cute as pets in Solstheim :D Mihail's are always top notch. With the Cliff Racers, not sure if there are any big differences but I like to feature different mod creators so I ended up showcasing this one instead of Mihail's. But all are good I think :) And oh thank you!!

You mentioned disliking the Vanilla sounds that the new Morrowind Creatures made. Very recently, a modder named YouCutDream uploaded several noise replacement mods for 4thUnknowns creatures, including Morrowind creatures, that adds custom and more fitting noises to these beasts.

Fury - Animal Taming of Skyrim + Dangerous Animals - GWAIFUU is perfect combination. Dangerous Animals - GWAIFUU makes animals more dangerous, making Saber Cat and Bears really valuable. But it is a very difficult mod, as the animals are very dangerous.

Both DLC’s are amazing imo but dragon born brings back memories of Morrowind hits stronger than a vampire killing spree. I really hope you try out Morrowind for yourself and maybe add a mod list of your liking just like you do for Skyrim.

Soooo I pressed activate on muha the nixhound in retching netch and he follows me everywhere even though I didn’t buy him and can’t actually talk to him, also the rideable creature I forgot his name but he follows me in Skyrim too any fixes???

There are some new mods out that introduce moving ships: 'Animated Ships', and 'Boats: Operational Animated Travel' amongst others. There are several patches for Animated ships which help with textures and framerate issues if your PC is struggling with the sheer weight of bustling river and coastal travel it introduces. I've found myself sometimes just sitting myself down at Solitude docks or along the coast of the Sea of Ghosts and watching the ships sail by!

If you refer to the game updates, most mods have been updated to the newest patch, but I'd recommend you either downgrading the game into 1.6.640 or just updating the mods and disabling updates, so in the future they won't break again!
