I thought this was a great video, thank you for sharing your knowledge!! Most people making compost don’t fully understand the thermodynamics and biology that is occurring but I can tell you have a solid understand.

Title is misleading. There's next to nothing in this video regarding the grains! 6:01 is mention of the Grains. Ends around 6:50. So around 50 seconds on the Grains out of a 12 Minute+ Video.

Thanks for this. I'm a homebrewer and I've been wondering if I could use wood chips with the spent grain. Do you need to grind the chips up into smaller particles, or will the big chunks compost quickly at your 1:1 ratio?

You miss named this video. I know how to compost. I thought you might have a way of enabling me to use the spent grains without having to compost them before giving them to my worms.

I would think after partially heat.composting them you could feed them to your worms

Patrick D Wilcox I raise my worms in a spare bedroom in Alaska. I can’t afford to bring all kinds of bugs into my home. If my worms were outside I would just give them to the worms after the heat goes down.

Change the title, Man. This is a waste of time for people interested only in managing issues with spent grains. Definitely shouldn't come up at the top of a search.
