This was extremely helpful and educational. Thank you so much! Would love to see more. Maybe with some audio with your thoughts behind it would be even better. Thanks again!

Beautiful work, but a disappointing tutorial... went straight from importing SketchUp images to the finishing touches of the render. It was the stuff in between that I wanted to see. Hopefully you get the time to do a more in depth tutorial in the future because the finished work looked great.

How did you get the style of the lines, and the shadows? Since it's in another language, extension and "Aide" not sure what it means but I don't have that on my sketchup and I desparately need it for my next project. Either way, this tutorial was very inspiring.

When you use the move tool or rotate tool, look at the bottom of the screen and it will tell you what keys to use to copy an object. Ie, hit m, then when you begin to move your object, tap ctrl and it will make a copy. Rotate tool has same hot keys. Also, on the right hand side, in the default tray is a menu called instructor. This also tells you hot keys as well.
@landshaperstudio4 жыл бұрын
Easiest way and to make a group or component. Then with move tool move that component after pressing the control key (windows) or command key (mac) and drag over. If the move tool is in copy mode you will see a "+" next to the move tool cursor. Once you move you can rotate it manually or right click and use "flip along" ooor use the scale tool and click the middle node on one side and before clicking to set again type in "-1" and hit enter.

Hey guys, just a question: Is it recommended to do this method as a beginner? I mean I know 1, 2 and 3 Point perspective and mostly how to draw it, but I have big problems imagining those scnes, either the camera perspective is super boring or the scene gets too flat... So I wonder if I should use 3D for that? But at the other hand I want to learn as much as possible from that process so I don't know if I should keep doing those scene only using ref images? :S
@Spicypaprikaband6 жыл бұрын
The idea is to help you with your art. You can use 3D as à base for your drawing. Évén as a beginner.

oh no problem i still like the video.But i have some questions. What did you search for at 15:00 in? What does it translate to in english ? And i am also wondering what you are doing at 16 minutes in the final steps. You export 3 images, one for highlights, one for shadows, and 1 for just the 3D base right?
@Spicypaprikaband6 жыл бұрын
corsair S I was looking for beams. It is a good way to break this analogic render and to complexify the look of the ground.
@Spicypaprikaband6 жыл бұрын
corsair S at the end i'm exporting two images with shadows. I disabled the strokes and used two differents sun positions. The third image are the strokes. Keep in mind that i had à Alpha channel to my png exports. That way i can assembly the three images on photoshop and have control on the render ;)
