That sounds more like the wet dream of our foreign adversaries rather than something a real American patriot would ever let happen to us. Moving through thick wood lines or underground like insurgents always have will be key in avoiding being spotted. We saw this in the middle east where US forces would sometimes just have to try and predict where to strike from above. Started using these tactics in DayZ (zombie survival game where the people are more of a threat than the infected) and I’ve actually gotten genuine results. Been winning a lot more gunfights and I’ve played 4K hours. It’s impressive watching your team’s plan unfold as the ambush kicks off. An example: A town east of the northwest airfield, Krasnostav, has a bend going northward towards another village called Grishino. We set up our SBF on a hill northeast of the road, about 600m off from the first curve in the road, which is bordered by thick indestructible guardrails. Our maneuver element was positioned west of the bend, hiding in a ditch about 50m from the road’s first bend. The kill zone was that slight curve. I spot a 2 car convoy with 3-4 guys in each vehicle and tell the sbf element to start opening fire on the lead vehicle. Our snipers killed the driver of the first vehicle, causing a pileup. They continued firing onto the enemy as they disembarked, realizing they’d been hit. They began to split up as the sniper team picked them off one-by-one, and that’s when I told my maneuver team to move in. They advanced onto the target in a crouched position with assault rifles, and emerged through the bushes after firing. After about 2 minutes we took out anywhere from 6-8 guys and successfully eliminated a group 3x our size.

Good shit man. Spent 2 years as opfor down at Polk, pretty damn close to our baseline convoy ambush. Very high success rate and that's against combat ready troops that are somewhat expecting it. Couple add ons: hoax munitions in the road way work great for exploiting ttps for react to ied. Radios can be exploited as support for an adjacent operation, hot mic'ing battalion net can really mess up an under prepared organization.
@Bf26fge8 ай бұрын
Speaking of hoax munitions I could see how just a very thin and cheap, coated electrical wire laid across the road would stop the lead element of a convoy or a small supply group of vehicles. Or if you only have a couple of feet make a loop and expose part of it on the side of the road. Even six inches of wire with the ends buried would work. Unlike a physical barrier such as a tree that wire wont be seen by drones and wont be seen by any vehicles until right on top of it. The bonus is your target will think they are dealing with some really dumb people operating from a distance, yet your ambush team is in place and very close.

@Marcelini19895 ай бұрын
It might be a good idea, but for any other signals but that to start the ambush. Many manuals recommend not using a whistle, because you don't want to give an enemy even that fraction of a second more to understand what's going on.
@pharaohsmagician83292 ай бұрын
Another comment here was talking about establishing a pattern in leaving your cellphone at home. Maybe some sort of pattern can be established for the alert whistle or alert noise too, do it around the same time every day for a month so the enemy gets used to that noise from the woods, and then when you want to signal the attack, you can slightly switch it up or do it at the intended time and use that as the signal. Also stuff like handheld slingshots can throw sticks or small rocks and you can use it like Morse code, 2 rocks in a row for attack, 1 for wait
@Marcelini19892 ай бұрын
@@pharaohsmagician8329 It could easily draw unwanted attention. And you can't have any guarantee that you will meet the opponent that you already familiarised with that signal... and anyway, it's still a sudden noise that will alert and set anyone on watch even at the physiological level.

Keep turning these videos out, as many as you can and as diverse as your memory can remember. People need to remember that you are what you think most about. Memory of motion works with thoughts as well. Everywhere you go, every single day. You walk into a 7/11, start running scenarios in your head of how you would commit to an exodus of the building. You find yourself at the bottom of a draw, in open meadow, how would you ambush yourself in that particular place, situation, etc. Don't worry about trying to be a Navy Frog Man, just get out into the wild more often. Camp more, take less food, go hungry more often, let yourself get used to dealing with complex situations while your stomach is howling cause you haven't eaten in 24 hrs. Go on hikes, with a canteen but don't drink any of it. Thirst and hunger, cold and heat, will throw you off your game quickly. Acclimate yourself to the fact that the government can take away from you all the comforts of home, and that alone will spell the doom of a very high percentage of the population. Don't be that person. Learn to function when hungry, thirsty, cold, alone, scared, doubtful, unsure. Camp alone, a lot. Get comfortable with night noises. That crunch off to the left of camp at one in the morning sounds like a T-Rex has sniffed you out and is coming for dinner. It usually isn't, it's usually a possum, skunk, some such. The less you need to make it through the day, week, month, and year, the better off you are.

I think your next video should be on how a small outgunned force has a chance on ambushing a tank in mind craft. Enemy armor will for sure be a game changer. We live in the mountains on the east coast so lots of avenues for ambush and escape routs. Not just destroying a modern tank, maybe just disabling it or rendering it useless till repaired. Even an attack that will make them think twice about driving them again through an area. Lots of rocks half the size of houses on the side of large hills here to be able to dig under and prop up with a log and a rope to get tripped or even pulled… lets say its a small force in mind craft and running away isnt an option or that the mind craft group needs to instill fear in the opposing force. So the small force will not have conventional weapons but are hill billy mechanics and welders. Hope to see that video thanks for what youre doing your mind craft tips are very helpful if we ever have to play the game as a nation.

Trying to get those same people to actually attack and engage a tank would be a feat in itself. If you find yourself engaging a tank in the first place mistakes have been made

You are 100% correct right about certain attacks backfiring in regards to public support. In a low intensity but prolonged conflict such as the Troubles, there is a long history of the IRA, Loyalist paramilitaries and the British security forces handing each other propaganda victories for doing things that turned the public against them.

I have an idea (I'm hoping one that is somewhat good/useful) for making one of those "Flaming Rock" signal devices/tools. If you take an empty, medium size plastic Gatorade bottle (I believe they hold somewhere around 20-ish fluid Oz. and have an orange colored cap on them.), remove the outer labeling film with all the text or "writing" on it to make the bottle, or specifically whatever is inside of it, more readily visible. Pour/spray your choice of high-vis fluorescent paint into the empty and DRY bottle, being sure to constantly tilt & rotate it, in order to completely and/or adequately coat the entire inside of the bottle with the paint, then let it dry. After the paint is dry, mix up some 30-min 2 part epoxy, or something similar, adding in some other material (I'm thinking something like good, "clean" sand could possibly be a good choice here) that can be somewhat evenly suspended/blended throughout the epoxy, while providing additional weight (in whatever amount/quantity that you have previously determined is the correct amount needed in order for the finished, end product to come in as close as possible to whatever has been deemed to be your ideal, most effective "throwing weight" when filled either ½ or ⅔ full of the Epoxy + weight material combo mixture. After pouring in the epoxy mixture, but BEFORE it has cured and hardened, you would need to have something that you have already chosen to use as the "anchor" and attachment point for your streamer-tail, which you will now press down into the epoxy, being sure to insert it deep enough so that it will be firmly held in place once the epoxy has cured. This anchor poiht just needs to have a loop/ring/etc.. that remains above the surface, which is where you can tie/attach your streamer-tail (which can be made using some of that bright neon pink or orange vinyl ribbon tape that is commonly used to mark or signify something, such as when it gets tied around whichever tree(s) a landowner wants a logging company to cut down/remove. Simply cut a length of ribbon that's twice as long as whatever length you desire the streamer tail to ultimately be, double your newly cut legth of ribbon over, forming the shape of a "U" and then tying the lowest, center/middle portion of your U shaped ribbon to your anchor attachment point.) After all of that is completed, you can take the 2 very ends of those tails and use a small amount of scotch tape to tape them to the INSIDE/UNDERSIDE of the bottle cap, and tuck all the excess length of these tails inside the still (and intentionally so) empty upper ⅓ or so, of your gatorade bottle, and then screwing on the orange cap. This will keep everything neat, tidy, and protected for an indefinite amount of time, easily stored in one of your mag-pouches or cargo-pants pocket until it's needed, at which time you can grab it, unscrew the cap and toss it away, which because of the small bit of scotch tape i mentioned earlier, will pull the 2 neon ribbon streamer tails out of the bottle, and then you are ready to throw it into the air, to signal to your teammates.

A potato gun made from pvc, or really a potato mortar, can launch it pretty high and far. Depending on terrain and your airsoft ambush layout a signaling device thrown by hand might not be seen by all. Fireworks also serve well as signaling devices and if you have a flaregun you are golden

Security is highly desirable for an ambush, but the ideal ambush needs no separate maneuver unit. R and R points are a bad idea anymore. Movement at night to the ambush point and maintaining good dispersal during movement is key. Ambushes need to be very dynamic and quickly set up as well as quickly removed. Very likely most military movement in the future will have a drone "walking point" so a static barrier over a road or bridge will be spotted long before the enemy vehicles reach it.

@@ViktoriousDead expanding on this, Ive been reflecting on recent conflicts and what people are going through. I realize my life is a lot kushier than those that are in conflict today. Nobody is shooting at me on a daily basis (or at all) but I still have trouble getting enough sleep etc. I could not imagine trying to relax and take care of yourself in an armed conflict. How do you develop the mental toughness necessary to endure the sort of experiences we are talking about? This is a skill that would not only be necessary in partisan minecraft world but also would serve people well in regular day to day life. I dont expect you to have a handbook to share on this sort of thing but I would be interested in your perspective if it ever lends itself to a video.

These are all factors to think about before hand, have a cover story ready, a change of clothes, wear gloves ALWAYS, etc… but when egressing a target and being stopped because there’s dirt on your knees and your arms are scratched is very different than being stopped with weapons, ammunition and load bearing gear in your vehicle

@@ViktoriousDead If things get that crazy on the Minecraft server they’ll be detaining players without any proper “legal” reason, terms of service will be completely suspended and they won’t even care to pretend they’re following those terms.
