Thanks for the video!! It was very helpful! I want to ask a question though. Is it better to buy a cable with or without aluminum protection? An installer told me that aluminum degrades over time and gives false alarms. What do you think?

Hi, I connected the door switch with a buzzer to the DSC Model PC1616 but the buzzer will ring only once when I plug in the panel transformer and then stop. I have tested and changed the switch, the buzzer and the cable and still having the same thing. So when I plug in the panel transformer, I will hear the buzzer rings and when I open and close the door it does ring. Any help will be appreciated Thank You

I just bought new construction home and I have these on doors and different on windows. My question is how to use these for new smart Alarm system? I saw only one wire at outside my communications panel. I was thinking to add Ring sensors system but I noticed these because my builder mentioned pre wired security system. But no idea how I can use it.
