So my question is can I use these headphones and still have audio out the tv speakers at the same time or does one cancel the other? Also how do I make these work with my cable box?

Yes, these work with an audio splitter, which I should say is an optical audio splitter and then you can connect it to a number of devices besides just the headphones and you can have the sound come out of the TV speakers at the same time sometimes when you plug-in conventional head sets into a TV, it cuts out the speakers I have a video on how to do that thanks for watching

You should have time stamps. For example, for people who have optical should be able to jump past the alternate TV connectors.

You didn’t tell us to charge, what the beep is, and the red light going on and off on the headphones, does that mean it is needing charging?

I believe the red light means it’s charging or needs to be charged

I don’t have a Roku tv, mine is a Sony Bravia. I suppose your headphones are NOT for my tv. Send a printed return label to my home address so I can return what’s not for me. Regards, Marisa
