Rich, Thanks for your video. I have a 997.2 / 4S cabrio from mid 2010 with bluetooth and NAV- pcm 3.0. When I follow your procedure I do not get the ipod button on. My iphone 6 plus asks me whether I 'trust this computer', which I accept of course. I cannot access the ipod nor usb function via Aux or otherwise. Is your test done with pcm 3.0 or 3.1? Your comments would be appreciated. Casey

For some reason my Porsche Cayenne S ( same PCM as pictured ) but no docking station ?? I obviously need the phone attached.... thoughts?

In my 991.1 I’m not allowed to press the “find telephone” button. When I do it says: “function currently not available” The PCM won’t come up on my Bluetooth list either. Do you have any suggestions on have to fix that?

At Casey and Viktor, your vehicles do not have the same version of PCM as the one in this video. Your system uses a proprietary cable that should have been provided with your vehicle. If using an Apple device that uses the newer style charger (Lightning) you will need an adapter. First off, are you using the correct cable? it is black in color.

Any thoughts on connecting an iPod Classic (final gen. 160GB) to a 2017 Panamera 4 E-Hybrid. When I connect the iPod to the vehicle with a USB-A to 30 pin cable (official Apple), I get the Porsche logo on the iPod screen but the PCM cannot find the device and the device controls are locked. The PCM appears to only be looking for a Bluetooth connection not a USB. Of course, the Classic does not have B-T. Is it a question of giving up and buying an iPod Touch, which does have Bluetooth? Any help appreciated. Wilson

I have a 2011 Bosxter S with PCM 2.24 version. When I connected my iphone 6 plus directly with the lightening cable to usb port, I get the message "do you trust this computer" and when I accept, nothing happen. I also got a 30 pin to lightening converter and the ipod button on screen doesn't show. Any suggestions? Thanks.

+Amar Chavan As mentioned to Casey and Viktor, you will need to utilize the proprietary cord that comes with your vehicle. You cannot use your white USB cable.

+NewCountryPorsche Thank you for the quick reply. There is black cord (combination of ipod+usb and then other end is 30 pin) that came with the car. As it had a 30 pin connector end, I got a 30 pin to lightening converter. Even after using the converter, it wasn't working iPhone 6.

Make sure that the USB and the round connector are plugged in.

Hi - I have a 2015 Macan and use the cable to plus my i-pod. All works fine - except, before each song, a robot voice tells me the artist - which is very annoying. Anyone heard of this and can tell me how to stop it? Thanks
