I don’t see the option of “Paired Bluetooth devices” under [Device Settings]. Google documentation says the same steps but I do not have any of these settings even after Cast update.

I experienced some technical issues. I was wondering if we have to get a smart home plug or a google home mini to get access to this option cause there's no 'Paired Bluetooth devices'' on the settings.

Having the same problem. But, it can be set on the chromecast. Settings -> remotes & accessories -> Pair remote or accessory. Then, just keep the accessory (e.g. speaker) on the available mode. Then, they can be connected shortly

More than shure this is for chromecast 4 and not 3, but as 3 also has bluetooth google ore some one should crate a special app for it

You'd think Default Speakers means Literally, "these are my speakers now for hereafter, thus I want to use them instead". But no, it's hit or iss. It works for music casting but not chromecast to the mini. I ask time, and it's back to the mini.

I have both in pairing mode. My nest mini 2nd gen and my vizio sound bar but they both just stay in pairing mode for about 5 minutes and then the nest times out. I've tried a dozen times idk why they won't connect
