its best to do it manually when youve just recently purchased your domain. otherwise youll need to wait 60 days to automatically transfer it. DNS method is instant. This video was exaclty what i was looking for brother. Just needed to make sure where the values go lol i had an idea but wanted to save time being error free

If you click on the "Verify Connection" it will show you that IP address and value for both A and CNAME entry. Thats how he got this info.

Because you have GoDaddy’s “Website Security” plan and the firewall blocks any DNS changes, the “record could not be added” error is most likely caused by the GoDaddy Website Security plan. As a result, the solution is to completely disable the firewall.

I had the same problem and found a solution myself, (1): go to website edit, (2): press top right on settings, (3): press unpublish, (4): press website history, (5): reset website, (6): now press F5 on your keyboard and navigate back to DNS manage now you can add TXT, CNAME and A. @@joealderson7790
