How to connect guitar into the OBS Studio with USB Sound Card

This is a new tutorial. It contains easy steps to connect your guitar to the OBS Studio with good sound quality. You can record your guitar playing and video of you playing it at the same time in the OBS Studio. But, in this video I am only telling you how to connect your guitar to the OBS.

I haven’t really tried it before but I don’t think iRig works on the computer, it only works for phones. I have a similar recording device like iRig, it’s K-Plug and it doesn’t work on PC. Hope this helps.

You mean distortion guitar effect? It will but it doesn’t come from the soundcard but from the effect itself, distortion effect usually makes noise even when not played... that’s why you need a pedal for your guitar effect

No, it won’t reduce extra noise... You can get rid of extra noise in the mixing process after recording. Are you familiar with fl studio? You can mix your recording to make a clean result...
