Yiu are a good teacher. And besides l have issues with 128 channel nvr that goes offline with all the 125 ip cameras installed on it randomly almost two or three times a week. You need to switch of and on before all the cameras connect. What is the way out sir?

I suspect network congestion. 1. How many network switches are used in the installation 2. Have you connected the switches through a router? Please link up by WhatsApp on +233556307182

I enjoy your presentation. I have a question...I have an installation that is spread out to more than 100meters apart. The longest distance to the NVR is 300m. I am installing Poe every 100m. Do I need to take cable directly from the last Poe (300m) to the router ?
@Tech_Inside_Out5 ай бұрын
I will suggest that you place your router at a central location which can be reached from every POE Switch in such a way that your cables from each POE Switch will be less than or equal to 100m. It is necessary to have all your POE switches connected to the router, that will make your network very fluid and effective. Kind regards
@alexobinyan73995 ай бұрын
@@Tech_Inside_Out Thanks for your reply. centralizing the router is not possible. I have 6 Poe in 2 directions. 4 in a direction and 2 in another direction. Can I connect the 4 Poe together by looping and then to the router? Thanks 🙏

Will the number of ip poe cameras based on poe switch Ports or the numbers of channel in nvr??? Let's say 40 ip poe cameras do i need a 40 ports poe switch or 40 channels of poe nvr??

The number of Cameras you can use depends on the capacity of the NVR, not the POE Switch.

My question exactly?
@germanmoreno10327 ай бұрын
@@reccakarl You mean like the Reolink rln36 nvr which only has 4 ports at the back? Those ports are for poe switches since that nvr doesn't have a built in poe power injector. Best to distribute the cameras in as many poe switches to balance the load.

Hello, You can use more than one router, where you can link one router into the other through the WAN port whilst the switches are connected to each router.

Good one from you our lecturer. Can we use only non Poe switches in place of the Poe switches. I am having issues with network congestion. I will give this a trial. Thanks brother

You can use non POE switches, provided you have an alternative means of power to the cameras other than the POE Switch.

The normal switch ports should be used for the cameras whiles the Uplink ports should be used to pick from the switch to the router. For the router, any of the LAN ports are thesame

Hello i have a same project 12 cam. The cabling must done in a way that in a switch we have 7 cam and the other 5 , im planin to put 2 switches for the cams and another one to connect this two , a cable from the router to this switch and another one the goes to the nvr. Is that correct?
@Tech_Inside_Out11 ай бұрын
It should be a cable from each switch to the router and a cable from the router to the NVR.

@@Tech_Inside_Out where is the difference cz the cabling is a little bit a problem, and also the router actually has only a port left cz the client as a nvr with other cam already

@profittola3222 In that case you can loop one switch into the other and pick from the second one into the router

Can the second setup with the router work without internet? Or must the router be connected to internet before it could work smoothly? Thanks.
@Tech_Inside_Out Жыл бұрын
Hello Augustine, Internet is not a requirement for the router to be able to play its role as a gateway to the network. Internet is only needed when you need to connect to other networks at remote locations.
