For my LG V30+, all you need is to apply a "Share Screen" option. Still, audio stays in the phone's speaker.

It sounds like the only thing you can mirror is the video,not the sound. Even you will connect your laptop or desktop via HDMI to transfer both video and sound or use something like a bluetooth speaker to listen to the sound, optional is the bluetooth speaker to have a microphone.

Exactly mirroring just will mirror pic not sound unlike Chromecast.

The only working for now is connecting your laptop to the tv via HDMI cable. Sounds will output to the tv if you set it in your zoom settings. But microphone is still from laptop.

Thank you for this video. I already mirror my phone to a samsung tv so can get Zoom on the tv however for meetings or classes mirroring phone for zoom is not convenient -as any notification that comes on phone will interupt my class. So my question to you or anyone else that is reading and can help is: How can I get Zoom app directly on my Samsung tv? Like my Tv comes with some pre installed apps like You Tube -so each time I search to install Zoom I get links to other You Tube videos mentioning Zoom, as You Tube is already on Tv it gives any results from You Tube. I have a n Android mobile.

Yes Zoom app is not available directly on TV. Mainly is because that there's no webcam nor microphone for TV. Still I would recommend mirroring.

I been trying so many methods since a month and finally now I know the limitations of Zoom and tv, different people on You Tube told many things but what you say makes sense! As I had also tried connecting onto Zoom using the browser on the tv -got the image but no sound! So best way to get on tv seems Mirroring but is disturbing with notifications popping up..so guess I'll either stick to my computer -which has a big screen for Meetings but is no good for Exercise classes as the room its in is small so not muchroom to move about! Lots of big companies using Zoom for everything since Lockdown and covid but no one explains limitations of app! So BIG THANK YOU to you!
