What if you want to go stereo on that cab instead of mono, you would have to change the ohms?

I tried that…so both outputs from the amp to the cabinet left and right and turned that switch to stereo but my amp is very quiet… I think there is something wrong with the system but don’t know what so I contacted the shop where i bought the equipment… I’m currently waiting for an answer.
