UPDATE: you DONT need any of those trash turtle beach or Xbox adaptors. All you need is an aux cord, the usb mic with a headphone jack, and a splitter. It works with my series x controller. Just saved u $40-$50

@@ngltgoatcrew9735 possibly. I have a cheap fifine mic that was $50 but it has the gain and mute button/headphone jack. Make sure you go to the audio and music setting and make sure headphone mic is on, as I’ve heard some people say it’s required.

Worked fine for me. Xbox stereo adapter only if your controller is uncabled. Mine always plugged as i play with K&M. I use a gaming headset HyperX with mic turned off, works! Be sure to plug the mic usb plug not in the console or you might experience weird sound. 😊

So I use the twitch app on the Xbox to stream. The app allows you to include the party chat audio if everybody clicks to allow it to record their voice. However, when I mute my headset, my viewers and stream can no longer hear me. I only tried party chat. Xbox is already difficult as it is for USB mics. I wouldn’t recommend trying game chat with this many adaptations. if you do try it lmk & I can try and look into it

I have the blue yeti mic and the only way you can make it work without having the earphones on your head is by going on the setting- volume&sound- additional opinions and then change party chat output to the speakers that way you'll still be able to use the mic and still hear what your squad is saying in the chat. Xbox series x does allow u to mic monitor through in system settings just like the ps5 so u can lower the mic volume all the way up and down as well as the volume from in system settings.

Mic monitoring has nothing to do with how loud u sound to other people all it does it changes if you can hear yourself when you speak, and also a side note to the creator the rode nt usb does not allow you to control how loud ur microphone is, it only allows you to change how loud the audio monitoring is for the microphone 🎤

So heres an AWESOME work around. I use with my elgato. Go into your settings on xbox (audio settings) and make it to where your party audio is output to your speaks (tv speakers) it will sound the same in your headset and the party chat will be picked up in your elgato, this bypasses the need for an adapter without affecting quality in anyway. There is an option to use speaker and headset output, ive never had any luck with this, it always ruins my audio quality.

The Turtle Beach Adapter on a Fifine is CHALKED fam. I’ve tried numerous times on plenty of Fifine models like the k668, k670, & k678 I even tried a T series one. NOTHING lol. I think it’s because it’s more of a budget generic brand.

The k678 should work. Xbox is very tricky. Is it an official stereo adapter? Try again and if not try to just use the splitter. Some people are claiming they are not using the adapter.

I have a question about one thing. It's probably skipped on purpose but I'm fairly slow. I noticed the only thing you addressed that the mic itself is actually plugged into your aux cable and nothing else. Is that accurate or isn't there a USB plug coming off the bottom of the mic? If so, what is it plugged in. This video of yours is the closest thing to connecting a USB audio interface to the Xbox series, which is what I'm trying to do and I think you may have answered that question as well.

It is a USB MIC. Usb goes directly into Xbox. That is assumed information in this video. The aux is to differentiate the sounds to the adapter. Good Question!

Any USB mic that can be monitored with these descriptions can work. Headphone port for sure to try and split audio. it is a hassle but this is the best option I’ve found so far.

The clarify the adapter isnt needed, only there if you want to mute things.

For me everything is plugged in well I can here the mic in my headset it is very buzzy and loud tho. It is also not working in party chat

My mic is stuck in game chat on the party but mic isn’t even talking in game chat but the mic is on and everything but I can’t even hear the game either any help?

I've tried everything as I have the Seiren Elite Mic and I've tried everything will not work with the series x at all. I've tried with and with the adapter, tried switching the splitter everything please help.

@@Timstuh thank you I've seen so many videos on it but when I use the mic I have which has that stuff it will not pick it up and by using the splitter I can only hear myself if the splitter is on the USB mic end not the controller end.

Also as an update I've tried my USB mic which by the way wasn't cheap by any means on the series x, my wife's xbox x, my daughter's xbox one x, my son's xbox one s digital and nothing I think that the Razer USB mic just won't work with it. Damn would of been cool if it did, if you find out more or maybe I did something wrong let me know. Thanks and keep making awesome content

After doing all of this how do you communicate in game chat? I’m able to hear others and they can hear me while in an Xbox party but outside of an Xbox party I’m unable to hear others and they’re unable to hear me while playing warzone etc
