This is so true... Although I was a student for 11 years.... Being a girl student doesn't get you many opportunities to be physically close to Swami.... Or get immediate answers to our problems.... So I remember, I was in 8th or 9th STD when I was feeling so low as I was craving for Swami's physical attention.... But was unable to.... I cried a lot and the only thing that made me feel better was visualisation.... Visualising Swami interacting with me.... Talking with Him throughout the day got me through the low period.... So being a girl student kind of prepared me for the lack of physical interaction

Swami is hungry for our love devotion faith and seva. When we serve suffering people Swami comes running towards us. This is what I experienced. Swami loves Seva much more than chanting his name. When he was alive he said that if you serve poor and suffering wholeheartedly, you are serving me. Not that person. Yes there are many ways to make Swami Happy. Bhakti Marga and Seva. True. I did not have the luck to see him in person while he was in human form. But nowadays I keep on talking to him. I have his photo in my kitchen. I offer whatever I make to him before I give to anybody. I feel he is watching me. Whenever something falls from my hand a few years back I used to feel irritated. I am 70 yrs old. Nowadays when during my cooking something falls down I feel,I think Swamy is giving me a chance to bend ,that way giving some exercise to my body to keep me physically healthy. Apart from the 5 techniques, I talk to a photo of a smiling Swami in my house. If I am in pain or I am joyful I go tell Him(funny while He knows it already of course). Every moment of the day I can run to Him as a child to have a chat,to do a little dance,to thank,to crave,to cry... I can see His face changes sometimes. I can see it when I am driving away from Him... That can really upset me and gives me reason enough to crave harder for His nearness again If He smiles more,I am over the moon. Apart from that He gave me so many problems (chances)that I can nothing else than surrender to Him... If my ego should go its own ways,I for sure should end up in hell or mental hospital leaded there by fear or worries. And than there is you and your satsangs,your videos,Aravind,that are of life importance to me. I call them 'post from Swami' and your reactions are His bliss only That counts for making Him alive... To me you are 'the man with the child in his eyes' A child brings the best intentions in all hearts at least in mine it does...

Sairam brother, I use the Visualisation, Namasmarana and the decision making one in my life. It benefited me a lot to connect with swami eternally. I listened to all the five satsangs which you discussed in this video which helped me a lot to become closer to Swami. During the initial days when I started singing bhajans in our Mandir, I used to sing those bhajans by just byhearting them but after listening to one of your Satsang where you said we should sing bhajans with BHAVA and yearning towards swami. After I practised singing with Bhava then suddenly I noticed that I'm feeling so happy whenever I sing bhajans at any place. One instance I want to share with you brother, There is an old lady in our Mandir, she is rendering her service to swami from her early age(from when she was 30 years old and now she is 80 years old). Till date she used to wake up at 4am and do pooja in her home and then by sharp 5am she is the first member to open our Mandir and do Omkaram and Suprabatam. So one Thursday evening while I'm singing NARAYAN BHAJAN in our mandir. She saw Swami roaming in the mandir during that bhajan, she was enjoying the Swami presence and there are no bounds to her happiness there. After the completion of bhajans and aarathi during the prasadam distribution time she said that swami came from the chair during the bhajan and roaming in our Mandir, and also she said that she wanted to see swami lotus feet but swami feet is covered by his beautiful orange robe. No one in our Mandir saw Swami during that day except her. Then I thought, what will be the reason that only she got the swami physical dharshan on that day? At that time I didn't get the answer but after listening to this video I think she is very closely connected to Swami because in her every action she chants our Swami's name. Even at this age she used to participate in every seva activity that we conduct from our samithi. She only says that she is getting this much energy because of swami. Now I just wanted to comment what I practise to connect with swami, but I tend to type this whole incident unknowingly. Thank you brother. I just felt like sharing this incident. SAIRAM🙏♥

Sai ram Annayya, There are few ways I connect with Swami and one way that I often adopted is to stand infront of His photograph and talk my heart out to Him. But this talking doesn’t only happen when I have a request or what not, but this talking happens everyday from the time I woke up in the morning and greet Him “Good morning, Swami” till in the night when I would tell Him “Good night, Swami. my first trip to see Swami was in September 1997. During my visit, I obtained a booklet called Jap Ewam Dhyan from the ashram bookshop ( along with the Vahinis etc), and started practicing the methodology given in this booklet, even though I did not know the meaning of the title of the book. I found that there were responses from Swami for whatever questions I posed as per instructions in this booklet. i still practice this and Swami always responds. Brother Aravind, my technique to connecting to God is to try and remember Him as much as I am able to throughout the day by reading & listening to people’s experiences as these give me the most focus, determination and comfort, and the ability to relate. And especially so during turbulent times as that’s when we require His guidance the most and sometimes that’s when we feel like letting go…. The most important way that I connect to God at present is through your videos. They fill me with love and faith, and somehow seem to deliver the message(s) I need at that time. As for the "Coin Toss", my variant is this: I do what my heart tells me to do after assessing that the act is pure and selfless. Then, I silently tell myself that even should the act be the wrong choice, and its anticipated outcome be wrong, (but without my knowledge), Swami will transform it to be the correct choice by His Will. Like this, I have since been living my life - surrendering the outcome to Swami. I am 62 years old. Sairam Aravind, Thanks for sharing many ways of connecting Swami. My connection with Swami is 24/7. How is possible. It is my part of decipiline. Prayers like chanting God's name,Om chanting, Suprapatham, astothiram, lalitha sakasranamam, Vishnu Sakasranamam anything. Bhajans, study circle ,reading books, Meditation, yoga excercies while doing think of him, cutting vegetables, cooking ,cleaning,watering the plants ,feeding your pets, shower,nature walk,etc.befor go to sleep, soon after getting from the bed, writing lords name ,watching Prasanthi lives, Vedam,Bhajans, listening Swami 's experiences , listening Aravind, Prem Anush, and other Swami's students talks,discussions etc. Finally see all the living beings Swami is in them.

I read the prayer the written in western canten. I love so much that I copay entire prayer and I read myself and have strength.

Being at Koidakanal in 2003, I can vividly visualise Swami siiting on the little balcony. Although I sat very close to Him, I was not able to see Him due to some pots of flowers. Darshan was going on for some time. This thought crossed my mind: "Oh Swami,the plants should be removed, so we can see You". Within almost the same moment, YES! the pots were taken away!!!

It is more 'a reliving' then a visualisation but the experience comes alive by it.
