Hola, buen video, tengo una pregunta, se puede usar el transmisor original? O al comprar ese receptor debe ser con el transmisor que sale en kit? Porque veo que son iguales los transmisores

👋 hola benjamincontreras160, no se puede. El transmisor tiene funciones extras que solo es conpatible con el recividor que viene en el kit. Lo que si es conpatible y se puede usar es el motor original con este Res v3 kit. Pero tendrias una velocidad solamente. Solo al conprar la nueva transmision, tendras la segunda velocida que con el nuevo control solo se puede activar. Espero que te aya ayudado , y gracias por ver mis videos👍

Is it necessary to buy the 2 gear transmission to fit the sound system or can you fit just the sound system only?

Hello Aishutty's world 😃 it is not necessary to buy the 2 gear transmission to fit the sound system. The truck is still going to run, except instead of 2 gears just in one gear all the time and the torque is going to be a little bit less with the stock motor. Other than that, the truck runs just fine without the 2 gear transmission and you will have the sound system. You can always upgrade in the future if you like. Hi, @jNeoGaming, i would not recommend it because the higher kv, for example 3300kv is too fast for crawling and the torque is not there. The lower the kv, the more torque you get and for this rc trucks you need torque to climb those rocks or obstacles. So it may work if you connect the res v3, what i mean is that the motor may turned but, no torque power. I have on my truck the wpl 2 speed transmission with a 370 motor and it works great in my opinion. I hope this helps and thank you for watching my videos and your comment👍

Hello No Name 😀 it will work with the original motor, It will not fry. The only difference is that you will not have a second geart to go faster and less torque to do rock climing. Also i don't know how good the drag brakes will work on the original motor. On the new motor, transmission it works great. I say use the original motor and test it out and if you don't like it you can always upgrade in the future👍

Just got my sound kit and everything today and just set it up and now the throttle is backwards

Nothing to worry 😀 you can switch the motor cables to be reverse, for example the positive make it ground and the ground make it positive only for the motor cables switch them around and nothing else, that should fix the problem. Let me know how it went and thank you for watching my video 👍

@@lxrcxl in the Res v3 kit, you get a switch cable, batery cable, and a cable to solder to the motor, to the new 2nd gear motor, only if you have it. you can still use the original motor too, and you don't have to solder anything, only with the new 2nd gear motor. I didn't use the motor cable that came with the Res v3 kit because is too short, i use the original because is longer. All this cables are JST plugs on one end that connects to the Res v3 esc (mother board) directly, this are just extra cables, you don't have to use them, you can use the original cables that are already on your truck. For the lights you need to buy separate, servo plugs extensions because JST plugs are too big to connect next to each other, they do not fit on the pins of the Res v3 esc. I hope this helps. Yes the JST cable is for the 370 motor. Only if you buy the new one with 2nd gear, but is too short, i didnt use it in my truck, i use the original one that came with the truck because is longer.

Hello Noor Nabi Gaming 😃 yes you can use the old batery cable and on/off cable, they are just extra. You can also use the old batery, the difference is just that the new one is much stronger and will last longer than the old one.
