I have lost all trust in Sony. I bought the Bravia because it was sold as an internet TV. I now find I have to buy a $130 Sony add-on to make it work. The Sony web site has the cheek to describe their LAN Adapter with these words: "Connect wirelessly and access internet through your Wireless LAN Ready TV". If I need an expensive add-on to make it work, then the TV isn't really Wireless LAN Ready. Is it Sony???? Suckered again, but for the last time.

im 2 years late but still If a TV says its wifi ready it means that its compatible with wifi dongles and NOT that it has wifi built in. If it had wifi built in it would say 'wifi built in'. You should have done your research and looked into what wifi ready actually means

its cause they arent produced anymore. Therefore sellers have spiked the price up since the wifi dongles are pretty rare now. the same thing happened with the wifi dongle for the xbox 360 and the wifi dongle for Samsung TV's (even though they arent that rare)

Lalit Arya you need HDMI cable from the tv to your laptop. If you have an iphone with iOS 13 you need an apple AV adaptor with a lightning connector (to your phone) and an HDMI socket. Plug HDMI cable into the adaptor socket and TV. Download Mirror App onto your phone and whatever you watch on your phone you should see on your tv. Wont work on an ipad as they don’t currently have iOS 13 software.
