How to Connect your Washing Machine to Bluetooth Connection
Hi it's Matt from Beko. Today we’re going to go through our Bluetooth connection to some of our new washing machine lines, so these washing machines are the BFL7510W, the BFL8510W and the BFL1010W.
First up you’ll need to download the Homewhiz App from the App Store for your Apple phone or from the Google Play Store if you’ve got an android. So, go ahead and find the Homewhiz App and we’ll get into the connection of your washing machine.
We’ve now downloaded the Homewhiz App, it’s just a matter of opening the App up on your phone and entering the Home interface. This now takes you to the home screen and you can begin to connect your phone to your washing machine.
Alright, so to start with we need to add an appliance. So, we want to set up a new appliance and this case we’ll select a Washer. We now need to locate the product code on the actual washing machine so if you put your phone down and then you open the door of your washing machine you’ll find your product code listed right here on the serial rating plate. In this case the product code starts with a 7 so we’ll type that into our phone in a second.
So, we now have the product code typed in, we now hit “Start Adding”. Now you’ll have some instructions on to how to activate the Bluetooth on your actual washing machine. So, follow the instructions. We make sure the Bluetooth feature is turned on on your phone and then we need to activate the washing machine Bluetooth. So, if we hit “Start Setup” the instructions go on to make sure that we have the washing machine set in the Off position and if we scroll up the page here, it then instructs you to hold the Celsius button and the Bluetooth button. Now, both of these can be located at either end. So, if we hold these down for 3 seconds you’ll see it starts to count down. Then once it does that it’s starting to activate the Bluetooth on the actual washing machine.
So, we now see the symbol appearing on the washing machine we go to the Next Step. The phone and the washing machine should start connecting. Now you can choose a name for your washing machine if you wish and then add your appliance.
We’ve now successfully connected our phone to our washing machine. There are a couple of Quick Tips on there but it’s just a matter of hitting “Finish Setup” and you now should see your Beko Washing Machine listed as an option just in the top left-hand corner there. We can now select it and it should open up with a notification and give you the interface to actually start using Bluetooth on your washing machine.
Once you have successfully connected your Bluetooth you should see the Bluetooth symbol illuminated here. If for some reason its turned off you can deactivate and reactivate by holding down the button on the countdown 3-2-1. Again, if we hold it down again, 3-2-1 it will reactivate the Bluetooth symbol.
With the Bluetooth connected there are two features. One is a monitoring feature that you can use on the App, that’s operational with any of the wash cycles that you select. If you want full functionality with the Bluetooth App then you do need to go down and select “Downloadable Programs” on your washing machine and then you’ll have all the options available to you through your phone App. So, if you are after the full functionality of the Bluetooth feature you need to be down on Downloadable Program with the Bluetooth symbol. It’s then a matter of selecting the Bluetooth button and you just tap it, you’ll see the display changes to these lines here. That means it’s now able to integrate directly with my phone. That will give you the full functionality to change the wash cycles from whatever you’d like through to the water temperature through to the spin cycle and when you’re ready to start it’s just a matter of selecting the Play button and that will actually start your wash. You can also Pause it and Disconnect.
That’s how simple it is to connect your Bluetooth feature to your phone. If you do need any further assistance please consult your manual and enjoy your new washing machine.

Connection to the washing machine does not work at all. I have already tried several phones and only one time was able to connect to the washing machine, unfortunately after disconnecting it could not be reconnected. Beko delivers defective products.

After the app is installed turn the dial on the machine to the app symbol/ remote setting. Turn blue tooth on in the washing machine settings and on the phone. Then press the blue tooth symbol on the washing machine one more time and another blue tooth symbol appears above the first on the display. The remote is now on.

It's not a wifi connection, it's Bluetooth which only works on a direct connection within about 3-10 feet

I have connected my beko washing machine. The bluetooth sign does not blink meaning the connection was successful. But I can not remotely control it. Any idea why? I turn the knob to ^download program+bluetooth sign^ then i hit the bluetooth button, machine beeps twice then it stops. Screen does not change at all so the remote control is still not done by the app.

You need to make sure your phone/tablets location settings for the HomeWhiz app are set to always allow location. Hope this helps.

@@innepinnetje I wrote to the support service email. I described to them the whole situation that the washing machine is connected to another house. They asked me to send some data and a day later they wrote that everything was ready. They remotely somehow disconnected my washing machine from all the houses and I was able to connect it. Everything is working fine now

It takes longer to connect and set the washing cycle trough the app then just turning the knob and setting it. App has exactly the same programs as the knob itself- so why would I want to go through a hassle of connecting it to washing machine and pressing all the buttons just so the app give me exact same washing options as the knob on the washer in front of me. Absolute waste of time. HomeWhiz app collects all of your data including your location at all times (if you turn that option off- it will not allow you to use the app)-why on earth would a washing machine need my location to be operated??? It's a data collection app- nothing else... Don't bother to download
