We assume is that we all grow crops when it comes to farming. As much as I want to agree with you, it’s also very correct that in the case of building you would want to clear the land. Also even when it comes to growing crops, certain plants need land that’s free from any trees. Please be guided.

Did you leave a 1/2'' - one and one half inch spacing between the floor boards to allow the urine and pellets to drop to the ground, so that the goats won't incur health problems from standing in their waste?

Obviously its expensive to make and maintain. But the bright side to it is its easy to clean one person can manage plus you find your manure down easy for collection. Most importantly goats love dry area plus you also reduces risk of diseases.
