How to Control 4 Decks in Traktor w/ Hercules RMX

Those would be the ones I have and am starting to work with. right now i have the kontrol controlling deck c & d (loops, cue drops, basic fxs controls, eq's, and pitch) and on scene 2 it's a robust fx's control, pretty much control over all of the chained fxs, and super knob that controls the delay in advanced mode to switch between different bpms

Yeah. I have the Arcade edition of the vci100 it's great, sometimes confusing, because it has so many modifiers. You could just add a modifier and turn those 6 buttons into cue points. I'll be doing a series on midi mapping inside of traktor soon. I just finished my thesis and graduated so i'll have some time to do that. This way you can map it however you want.

as for the pad, for now it's using the pad as a scratch pad, and the buttons as loop rolls, ala Serato style, and buttons for deck focus. that would be scene one, and scene two would be hotcues, so you can beat juggle away, and i'll also have the pad mapped to the beat masher or gater. I would take suggestions and work them in to the mappings, i'll be working on them in great detail in about 3 weeks and then work on the overlap file so that people can print and stick on the units

you can just click on the tab that says bpm to order them in that particular bpm, or you can make a smart playlist in itunes that says tunes from 125-130 and then use that playlist in traktor.

Hi, I could... but actually when you import the mappings the keyboard is mapped to hotcues 1-8 for all 4 decks. I like the keys on a keyboard better than the ones on the RMX.

JUGGLE MODE IS JUST 4 HOT CUES, SO IT'S ALREADY SET UP LIKE THAT ON THE KEYBOARD. I do not have a modifer for that. If you wanted to you could use the modifier that changes the eq's to fx's because the 6 buttons don't have anything mapped that way. all you would have to do is add the commands for each deck and change the modifier on them i believe that particular one is MODIFIER 1

but in the end there all midi messages, it's just based upon button feel, and knob amounts and stuff like that. but the rmx can be found online for like 300 bucks and like i said it has a soundcard. so you can use timecode and all that good stuff, but it's not a pro grade item.

Hey everyone I updated the mappings, the eq's and loops and cue's for decks c and d. I'll post up another detailed video soon, I'm trying to add some more functionality to the mappings. Also stay tuned, i'll be working on some korg nanos in conjunction with the hercules, to make a great setup with tons of controllers, I'll also work on overlays that can be printed and placed over the nanos that will have the new callouts printed on them. stay tuned. maybe in a month or so.

I just slowed them down a bit. so it's more detailed and incase you want to scratch it moves in a more natural manner.

This is perfect, i just have a few questions, can you make a video showing how to create all this modifiers?, how to let the LED ON?, this video shows me exactly how i want to control the program with my hercules but i just don't know how to do it in the traktor config, i donwloaded your .tsi file but is not working like that in my hercules, the LED's doesn't stay on, and when the ''scratch'' button is off doesn't work with A - B. works with A -D and viceversa

I'm much interested because it's not working with traktor pro 1.2 higher windows (the modifier for deck c it's on hold mode, when realased u control both decks a and c... and many other things I think depending from the bug of traktor in win version before 1.2. Could u send me it? ty so much

Hey there. i have a doubt: i'm using traktor 1.2.4 (1.2 it's impossible to find). i see that the MODE, in the modifyers it's in HOLD mode. That's not how you have in the video, because you click and it's on, and then click and it's off.. (not on when holding). Could you please help me out making this work on this traktor? (or what mode i should choose) TKS :)

Woah. I have no idea. What software are you using? If you are using traktor you might have the tick on in the master clock. Besides that I have no idea i've never ran across that problem. Good luck. let me know how it does

Props girl- I've stuck with Traktor 3 , pro wasn't for me - but I use it everyday , and mapped mine out all crazy retarded too! I can't even explain to anyone else how I've got it mapped

You have to fake it. Check out my video modifiers for traktor. I show how to make a toggle modifier.
