How to Control Emems and Comps with a Control Panel

Is there any way to not pay the student price on the Tricaster Course and Exam if the company I work with had bought a brand new TC2? I just would expect a sort of discount on the course if some one spend 50k on a new tricaster and want to obtain a certificate to use it ? Am I wrong? Is there something special to do in order to have the Distributor kinda price ? thanks

this is great! I had no idea they were called Emems. and I was wondering how to recall comps and Emems from the control surface

technically in the manual they are called mem slots but the file extensions are called emems :)

Why not have the buttons that have something stored on them light up when the mem/comp button is held on the control panel? Seems like it is needlessly easy to call up or override the wrong one. and why not have something on the panel change when the alt or ctrl buttons are held? They're right next to each other, it'd be easy to think one is pushed and accidentally delete an emem you're trying to save. Just seems like a big usability miss.
