Nixe explanation! Thanks! I am trying to implement a Markdown Pandoc workflow and stumbled across tables. Now using Latex for the tables, which can be prohibitive wrt time spent for simple tables. This seems to be a good solution.

Hello, Excellently illustrated. I encountered a problem. I am running Excel (14.7.0) on my Mac (10.14.6) I am able to bring in the Excel2Latex through the Tools->Add-ins option. I am able to select the Add-in as well showing that it is installed. However, there is no accessible functionality - those two functions do not show up, even as I select the table. Can you help? thanks/alay
