How to Convert Videos to DVD using DVDFlick

this is one of the best tutorals ever you clearly explained everything as well as how to even use nero! i just have dvd flicks burn it for me instead of going to another program because theres an option on dvd flicks to burn to disk after it has been converted! PERFECT AND IT WORKS! HATE THAT IT TAKES HOURS!

You first have to go to project settings and on the bottom left you have to open it up and select burn to dvd. The same thing happened to me the first time too. Hope this helps TC

I have a question about burning large video files on to multiple dvd's, for example lets say a tv series. Would DVDflick allow me to do that? If no how would I be able to do that?

1 second ago Ok. Here is my next question about dvd flick and I'm gonna post it on every vid til I get an answer. I spent over 6 hours converting a tv series to a dvd. the program and computer worked perfect until it was time to burn to disc, I assume it was the faulty crap memorex disc I used but an errors I didnt understand occurred and the last few episodes wont play. My question is, is there anyway to burn to another disc without going thru the entire process again?...

hi ive converted avi files to dvd , wikid i was wondering tho , how do i add a title page to show which eps r on this dvd ? also,ive made it soo new chapter starts every 10mins , but it don't let me actually fast forward inbetween the chapters just skip to the next chapter :( & 1 last thing i d/l torrents wi subtitles , is there a way i can get rid of thm ? ... good clear vid tho , thanx

I used DVD Flick to burn AVI, MP4 and MPG to cd but it does not work in dvd player (Pioneer). The disc is running but nothing happened in tv screen. Any advice please. Thanks

Everything worked as you said except one thing, how the heck with this method do you make a dvd menu? I know windows dvd maker does it for you is there an easy way to do that?

Question one: I want to burn a second dvd of a previous project. How can I do this? Do I have to go through the whole encoding process? Or the encoded video/audio is already available and only have to go through the burning process again? I was trying to find the burning program that DVDFlick uses (imgburn) but I can't seem to open it, nor find it, at all. Help anyone?

@dangervich Update: I got it to work but no audio.... I add video and when I try to add the same movie under "add auio" it says there is none. But the file plays perfectly on my computer.

1 sec ago continued. I mean between dvd flick and converting and compressing all 23 episodes with alltoavi I'm looking at 50-60hours to get this done so starting over because of a glitch really, REALLY SUX! I went to the folder that dvd flick made and its all there. All the episodes play fine from the converted files within that folder. That's y I think its a faulty disc. I just dont wanna have to start from the beginning if it happens again. Anybody know???

Question two: I was trying to burn 4 video clips but I get the error code "could not convert background images to mpeg2 (no file)" almost at the end. Any ideas what the problem is. Am not very tech saavy. Help.

I made a dvd last night and all worked well but when I played the dvd in the player I noticed at the end I lost some video, so I played the dvd in the pc and everything was there, so the video is 1hr 15 min but in the dvd player only shows 1hr 11 min , lost 4 min. , the only thing I can think of is when selected type of dvd it was default at 4.3 gb but I use 4.7gb dvd , I didn't think that would make a difference since it all played on the pc , thanks anyone for any info on this , next time I will select 4.7 gb to see what happens

I have been using Dvd Flick for a while now and I have never had to do what you are saying. Dvd Flick comes with imgburn, once the movie is converted, imgburn will burn it, all I have ever had to do is put my dvd in the computer.

go to project settings, then the last tab-"burning" check burn project to disk before buring and loading :D

You don't need Nero to burn the DVD..DvdFlick encodes and burns the DVD for you..It takes awhile..

I appreciate the fact that DVD Flick is free but it totally sucks. I've tried it several times now and it NEVER works. There's always a problem, either with encoding or erasing RW discs or the burning process itself. Worst of all, even though you wind up with nothing to show for a long time consuming process, the application will still manage to eat up a considerable amount of space on your hard drive.Totally sucks.

DVD flick is F!@#$KIN shit, it runs at 12fps goes for about 5.5hrs and then it doesnt even burn it just says finished and closes. DVD is shit, unless you can help me with how to get it movin at a faster fps and not screw up at the end i might reconsider callin it shit but for now its SHIT. No offence to you or anything, just this was the first video on the screen
