I work from home and my logic is that I spend around two hours on the commute and if I have urgent deliverables, I am able to meet them if I cut out on this. And I have increased my coverage time. Since I work from home I ensure that I respond to emails frm 7 am to 10 pm.

In my case as cloud engineer i have to approach my supervising manager for this.
