Convection bake or bake? Details cuz I’ve never made a Turkey. HELP!!!!

Usually it’s assumed to be bake if they don’t say. Only difference with convection setting is there is a fan that blows the air around. Convection can dry out things sometimes.

Haven't done this from frozen. Cooking it upside down for about 2/3 the way and then flipping it breast side up usually makes a far juicer turkey Ala Cooks Illustrated. Breast side up the whole way from frozen seems a recipe for a dry ass bird.

even after 2.5 hours on a small 9 pound turkey i couldn't get that junk out of it. this stuff only works on you tube.probably dozen takes.
