I haven’t had crabs yet but it won’t be long. Last season I was experimenting with using a meat thermometer in a crab when steaming. I’m thinking 185 was the temperature on the top crabs. They came consistent and as close as I’ve ever gotten to a pro steam set up

That was partially my fault for not bringing a cooler. It was a hot day and we had a few long stops before we got home.
