I (living in the UK) had never heard of Katsu until around two years ago, the supermarkets always sell it as "chicken katsu curry" here, and we can buy "katsu curry sauce" so we can make our own :) The chicken katsu ready cooked meals do have chicken in breadcrumb generally, as well as rice, but also a curry sauce. It's very interesting to see this (I realise it is a follow up to your reaction to Nigel Ng's reaction to the "great british bakeoff", just adding some British background and encouragement for you to do more👍)

😋oishi. 🤗Thanks for doing the egg part. 📝I needed the sauce measurements to make Oyakodon.😄Arigato I sometimes used to sprinkle shichimi togarashi or nori furikake. Sauce options are always more of the onion mixture sauce, katsu sauce or japanese mayo. I like bulldog but I forget which one. It was the sweeter one. But, at the local import store. I can usually only find what I assume is the original and it is much stronger.
