❓How to cook borsch?
When I was a child, my grandmother taught me how to make borsch and passed on a simple and delicious recipe, which I will now share with you. Let’s get cooking!

❓What ingredients do we need?
3 liters of broth
1 beetroot
2 carrots
6 medium-sized potatoes
Cabbage
100-200 grams of beans
Sunflower oil (for the sauté)
Dill and parsley
Ground black pepper and garlic
❓How to cook it?
*Step 1:*
Soak the beans for 6 hours, then cook for 35 minutes until ready.
Prepare the broth using pork or chicken, then strain it to remove the whole black pepper and bay leaf, so they don’t end up in the bowl.
*Step 2:*
Peel and chop the carrots, potatoes, cabbage, onions, and beets as shown in the video.
Sauté the carrots and onions in a pan with a little sunflower oil. Add the beets to the broth and start cooking.
*Step 3:*
Pour two ladles of broth into the pan with the carrots and onions. Bring it to a boil and add two tablespoons of tomato paste. Lower the heat and stir.
*Step 4:*
Add the potatoes and cabbage to the broth, bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes. That’s just enough time for the potatoes to cook.
*Step 5:*
Transfer the sauté from the pan to the pot. Add salt, black pepper, and garlic. Stir, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes to release the garlic aroma.
*Step 6:*
Serve the borscht with sour cream and fresh herbs.
