How to cool down your home in seconds, with a slide-wire retractable sunshade

The Shaderunner® is an Australian made all-weather retractable shade. The fabric canopy is made from polyester mesh which provides high levels of UV sun protection. Aluminium tubes or battens are used to support the fabric. These tubes have a series of rolling pullies, which slide along a pair of steel wires. This allows the Shaderunner® to easily extend or retract in a matter of seconds. A simple rope and pulley system is used to operate the shade.

@@jacqdanieles Obviously not 15 years of uninterrupted study, but I see your point. Lots of ways to do the same thing and trade offs to consider. Ease of use beat affordability by deciding to use all those stainless steel blocks (pulleys). Check out their cost at a marine products store, where they are sold for using on sailboats.
