You can also copy with Ctrl + v then highlight what you want to change by either using your mouse or the shortcuts Ctrl + Shift + arrow keys. Then use Ctrl + Alt + V to past formats

Thanks. Doesn't work for bullet points though. Do you know of a method that works for bullet points?

In my opinion, "format" is changing the color of the text or making it bold, underline, or italic. If you want to turn a block of text into bullet points, highlight all of the text. Then click the bullet button in the menu. You will then need to delete the bullets you don't want.

Same issue I can't copy bullet points and it is irritating so much

Somehow it detected the sentence I typed as the same format as the text I pasted, even though the font and boldness are completely different
