If your front end is washing out on a flat corner you need to adjust the suspension geometry and increase the height of the suspension to add more weight. You can also adjust the other things in the garage.

how on earth do you corner as hard as you do at 1:47? getting the proper line and entry isnt what i find difficult, its the fact the bike doesnt really turn much even then, its constantly understeering for no reason, and the turning at 1:47 is a perfect example of how my controls dont allow anything even close to that. is it something with the lean settings or whats going on?

Bad times for me. I fully counterlean and lean back when cornerning. Going to need some practice to get rid of that habit and just going neutral. My right thumb will feel real empty cornering

Just start with only leaning back

It'd a bummer imo. Rider lean is so important irl and this game almost disregards it. Idk if it's the bike or the game changes or both. But now counter leaning barely even modifies the steering angle. L/R Rider lean used to be a good way to micro adjust your line entry for really narrow ruts. But it think that's why I only like to Ride super choppy tracks with skinny deep ruts now. It's way more fun imo to really play with the lean and be creative, get that sidewall traction and really work the bike. These super smooth bowl turns masquerading as ruts make the game feel more like supermoto with big jumps to me.

Imo I think it’s a bikes thing! The bikes get super bound up in the braking bumps and don’t act right! Best to just not use brakes

just try not to just tap the throttle repeatedly or get on too hard. try and use like a third to half throttle

Doc i have serious problems in heavy corners, my steering tends to close and than i crash because my front wheel slieds away. This happens especially in flat corners. I don't know how to manage this problem, maybe I am not enogh smooth on the left stick? I use automatic sit/stand. I've tried to reduce the steering gain, but then i have not enough gain to complete heavey corner in a resonable speed where do you think I have to search the problem?

Just go slower and then ramp it up as you get more comfortable. I had this to for flat corners. Trying to go to fast either sending my rear out or tucking. Take it slower and then you will learn how the bike reacts

Wtf kind of advice is dont counterlean? I just started this game yesterday, finally started getting around the track with a decent amount of speed so I looked up some tips. No lean either washes me out immediately or sends me barreling straight off the corner. Was this updated or something? The bo lean already makes no sense, and it feels even worse, even leaning back into a corner. Suppose I’ll just keep playing the “wrong” way
