How to correctly update Fanatec dd1 dd2 wheel base

After I did the new firmware update now my thing doesn't even want to turn on! Support sucks it's been 5 months now. They keep telling me to hold the power button for 8 seconds to put it in the update mode and I keep telling them that it doesn't even want to stay powered on. 6 emails and they're still telling me the same thing. You cannot remove any drivers or install any of the drivers if the unit doesn't want to stay powered on. I'm fed up with this company. Pedals Wheels Etc so much money and I can't even use it. Don't recommend
