This type of killer just doesn’t fit in dead by daylight I can’t keep track of him. His red stain is literally on him so you won’t know if he’s coming around the corner until he’s already doing it on top of all of that he’s insanely undetectable. And put little footprints everywhere and you would never know if it’s him or not. I literally feel they should’ve never added him and the only people that are enjoying him or people that are just insanely skilled

yea, no joke, him being added and the broken killer and their perks and new combination of perks with existing killers (more and more have been using the broken xeno ultimate weapon perk revealing survivors when they check locker) has brought my enjoyment of the game down 1000%. It feels like our locations are basically more or less constantly revealed or we're yelling showing our location all the time. Game is a ton less fun than a few years ago to me and friends

It's really not that hard to understand. He has two flick stages: One at the very beginning of a slice and dice, and one right when he does an attack. See his slice and dice attack sorta gains the same properties as a *regular* lunge attack, which means you can infinitely flick however hard you want when that knive is out. Not only that but the hitbox lingers on for a bit which means you can technically miss and still flick a hit out of the survivor. His initial flick range is less tight and actually feels intended. Imo he should be allowed to keep the second flick, otherwise he really does just become an arguably shittier Wesker....

Should probably nerf his base speed. Chucky is just crazy when looping. Gotta have a loop where you can look over the obstacle. Otherwise bring a key, or object of obsession, because it’s such a task trying to track him in chase.

not to say perk use is a counter, because it isn't. but one decent way to play against chucky is to run scene partner, gives you a huge advantage when at those low-cover loops, as you can see his aura the whole time.

Cutting to sharp corners isnt helpful at all good or even new chucky players can easily flick 90 degrees even doing a 360 has a more success chance than hiding behind a sharp corner

Tight corners and loops don’t seem to counter chucky for me. Once I hear him start rushing me. I either drop a pallet or lose a health state. He glides along walls like Billy and blight and turns even faster

man, it's honestly really brought my enjoyment of the game down a ton and I'm likely taking an indefinite break. I'll reply back with any perks I find but it seems awful to totally make all your perks to counter him when it's not even for sure you'll go against them. More and more killers have been catching on to using the Xeno's ultimate weapon perk that makes survivors shout when killer checks the locker too. Chucky's perks and him overall just seem broken. I had more fun going against constant weskers compared to ALL the chuckys lately. Random teammates constantly going down, either me or a teammate getting them then shortly going down afterward doesn't even seem productive after so many matches, it feels like just trading a life for a life. I'm not sure if I'm getting THE worst lobbies ever, but randoms haven't been very good at looping lately. Something has gotta change. I hold my own but maybe due to being p100 I get tunneled a lot. I guess my borrowed time, balanced landing, windows of opportunity, and unbreakable aren't cutting it anymore. In lobbies lately, me and other survivors are CONSTANTLY yelling due to killer perks revealing our locations, killers seem to have a TON of aura revealing perks and builds all of a sudden. Game is 1000% less fun than a few years ago. Troll tunneling camper killers and toxic troll teammates also seem more common than years ago too. Sandbagging can be pretty bad at times too.

Personally, i dont think he's OP. It's just that he's insanely low risk for insanely high rewards; and from a survivor perspective, it feels really cheap to get "outplayed" sometimes. His third person view in addition to his stealth is the most annoying to play around. The only change I'd make is to change to where he can only go in stealth if he's about to do his rush attack. He can already continue his rush attack after vaulting pallets and windows (Something other rush or vaulting killers cant do) That alone already gives him a unique edge that provides tons of potential tricks, counterplays, and fun chases. But when someone can just go undetectable, use third person to wait under a window or around a corner, and M1. Is just so cheap. On top of the fact that if you leave the loop, he can catch up with no issue, with a rush that is almost unavoidable, and a set of addons that can make every aspect of it a guessing game. I have no idea what the devs were thinking. But wait! Theres more! Better hope youre not sent to a map like Mothers Dwelling where it mostly consists of wack filler pallets and the map is filled with a bunch big ass grass patches, making it so much easier for a tiny stealthy little shit to get the jump on you. It never ceases to amaze me on the devs continue to make other weaker killers completely irrelevant. Im not saying he's a copy/pasted killer. But on top of unique traits, he essentially has 4 other killer powers and outperforms almost all other killers who share similarities. Like, killers who has stealth, or can vault objects, or who can dash. Other than Blight, ironically. Other than that, he can be fun to play against. Even if the killer player is a decent killer and hits are guaranteed.

Heres how i counter him,hold forward,run hope,go for pallets when you see one,if you hear his laugh prepare to dodge a slice and dice,when he is about to begin the slice and dice hold left and if you can try to 360 him,only if youve gotten far enough away though for it to take enough time for his sensitivity to lower. If he slice and dices when you are at a pallet time it so that he gets stunned. You have to stun him or he will just scamper and hit you.
