Many characters don't actually require niche tricks to beat, they just require better knowledge of mechanics than your opponent. So in essentiality, the biggest hard counter to any character is simply being better than your opponent. (and not using megumi)

Pro tip: If you’re playing as Gojo, you can get around someone’s block by pressing R and immediately turning around before you actually teleport to them which will cause you to be placed behind them, letting you get a surprise combo on them since not everyone knows about this trick. When teleporting think of yourself as a moon and your opponent as a planet. If you are facing forward and teleport, you’ll end up in front of them. If you’re back is facing them and then teleport, you’ll end up behind them. It’s very useful when you know how to use it right

INoctAltIII and my counter is that a Mahito user will always try and ragdoll you far away then use the worm move, so if you get ragdolled far away and the Mahito doesn’t close the distance it’s a safe bet it wants to use worm. To quickly cancel the move, evasive dash out ragdoll towards it then forward dash (only if it’s charging up worm). This is really useful since manji kick and Hakari’s special can’t counter the worm, and if a Mahito gets you close to the edge of the map it can actually worm you through the wall out of the map, so never fight a Mahito near the edge and never let it worm. Not really a counter more like a tip but I don’t think it matters too much lmao

What I learned is that with Hakari, using rough energy as the starting move to make your opponent evasive dashes and if they are smart (rarely though 0-3000 kill range iq scale) if they did not use evasive, then you could use reserve and shutter. Honestly, Gojo is not number one on ragdoll damage.

Effortlesssfarming, a great counter find for gojo, is surprising them by playing passive, this is especially effective with hakari, as most of gojo's moves are blockable this can give you a lot of agency in battle, this works less with the other classes as they have more block breakers, This one is for the gojo's, against less experienced players immideately lapse blueing after your rapid punches is fine, but because of the quick recovery dash attack they can do against you showcased in this video, a simple side dash can be beneficial, spinning in the rapid punches also helps to mask where you'll be making it harder for them to counter attack.

As a mahito main, my main strat is just to play zoner when low and go on offensive, the clubs dash block breaks so its good for block spammers and body repel is also good for playing keep away against stronger foes.
