A honorable mention for countering scientist is the citron because citron is very tanky(I accidentally said tangy because typing on phone sucks :() and excels at close range

I find chomper pretty versatile against even engi and deadbeard as long as engi doesnt stun you, since you can use spikeweed to remove their turret/transport modes easily. However I have found that the timing is very weird, and that I end up eating their ability anyways if I am impatient. just using burrow and then intentionally cancelling it to place the spikeweed is really the best way to get a kill sometimes and its pretty good to practice when you have vampweed on too

6:49 Torchwood aside from frozen variants being good counters for him, I would say some of the All Star variants are really good counters for him as well imo Especially Reg, Golf and Hockey since Reg deals high damage and Golf and Hockey have the fastest fire rates than any of the other All Stars

(1/2)Oh this is one of my favorite topics. So I definitely have some thoughts to share. Also having no power still is just fun.. anyways: Peashooter: I agree with All-star and Super Brainz, I think Deadbeard is more even. Pea gatling can out snipe him, and he could always Bean Jump towards him. Chomper: Same answer as PeaS. He can easily burrow to avoid Deadbeard's sightlines. Also you of all ppl should know how overrated eating in burrow is. Kernel Corn: I completely disagree with your choices. Well Deadbeard may have a slight advantage, I'd say Imps and All-stars beat him more. Dummy shield can block most of Corn's shots, and have just as good mid range capabilities. Its hard for Corn's to hit Imps especially up close. His only saving grace is Husk Hop.

(2/2) Scientist: I'm surprised you didn't put Citron there. I'd say he is more of a counter than Peashooter is. All-star: As stated with Corn, I think All-star wins. Chompers actually do really well against them. Go against one that actually uses burrow intelligently and it's really hsrd for All-star to do anything. He can just approach, goop him and just win the fight. Imp: I agree, but you could add Peashooter there since splash damage destroys him. And for Z-Mechs, you could add Ice in there, since just like Citrons and Torchwoods, tanks have that shared weakness. Hover Goat 3000: You could probably add Chomper and/or Citron to there, but it's kind of hard to say. And that's all I have to say. The ones I didn't mention, I agree with ya.

Citron would’ve been a better scientist counter….. I very much agree with the chomper all star one! But I tired making this a beginner/ easy to understand list while excluding a really really good player who understands everything I was considering peashooter but in my head I imagined peashooter players who would shoot at the imp rather the floor I feel hovergoat really has no weakness to be honest

@@drybonez6402 Like I said, that's why I'd say it's more even for PeaS and Deadbeard. They both have options against each other. Well since the video is supposed to be talking about every classes worse matchup, ignoring one because it might be too hard it kind of dumb. Plus all you would need to do is tell them NOT to burrow the All-star and instead just goop him instead, and it's an easy win. With the exception of the 3 direct hit PeaS, most of them can just hit the floor and win, especially when having the high ground. Obviously the best advantage for the Imp is to get in their face, but that's how the class operates in general.

I’d say that Chomper is a really good counter to Imps, because of it’s really small health pool you can usually 3-Chomp or even 2-Chomp them. Also your goop is really good at denying their gravity grenade. Moreover, chomps can also bypass Z-mech armor, making Chompers really good at melting mechs

2:20 - 2:20. How did you do this? I've heard of jump barrowing, but I haven't been able to do it myself, or at least not intentionally. I know that it does have something to do with the whole momentum movement tech, but I'm struggling on when your suppose to do activate burrow. I do believe that you did post a video that talks about this, but both of the rabbit holes I went though to find that video is starting to gaslight me into believing that it never happened.

@@drybonez6402 I'm so sorry, I wasn't clear on what I was trying to ask. My bad. I wasn't talking about using burrow in order to get momentum, rather using that momentum to jump into burrow. Like in the moment I timestamped, you started the burrow animation on top of that small hill but at the end of the animation, you were digging into the ground on the point. That would seem to be pretty useful tech to know as Chomper as it'll allows you to get into burrow without having to make yourself too much of an siting duck.

I’d argue Hover Goat also get’s countered by Chomper. Every Zombie has at least one thing that allows them to either shut him down or get away from him, except Hover Goat. You’d think him being able to hover and temporarily increase his movement speed would help, but no. Hovering just doesn’t do all that much in my experience, and Tubular Turbo isn’t fast enough to get away. Hover Goat’s also fairly squishy so Chomper doesn’t need many bites to stop Hover Goat from playing the video game temporarily.

Believe it or not, I was coming up with a matchup thing like this, but it wasn’t like this, I did it like “what does this counter and what is it weak against” so without further ado I will show you the GW2 food chain. I’ll start with the easiest one I know, which is that imp dies very easily to peashooter with his splash that counters his small hitbox and mech killing Gatling. He is weak to sb who is also good against cactus but is weak to chompers who is weak to engineers who is weak to corn who is weak to no one really so I’ll put dead beard here since he’s one of the best counters. Hes weak to torchwood kinda. He’s weak to soldier who’s weak to no one for the most part so I’ll say rose. She’s weak to all star with his abilities who’s weak to sunflowers as long as you can aim, and she’s weak to scientist who’s weak to citron with his abilities who’s weak to imp with his gravity grenade against the ball, and it loops Hovergoat doesn’t really fit in, so I’ll just put him with soldier

tbh the biggest thing i struggle with is projectile speed so a lot of the time i end up missing some shots due to not being used to having projectile speed down in my aim, im used to a lot of hitscan or very near hitscan weaponry in games. edit: although this is a good list to know

He forgot to mention spikeweed interactions a lot. He asumes that deadbeard will always be able to attack from range when characters will avoid that interaction so it's not a problem. This video is clearly meant for starters.

Not so fun fact: Stun grenade does extra stun time to Chomper.😢 On the bright side, Chompers can use spikeweeds to rip Deadbeards and Engies out of their abilities. If A deadbeard tries to barrel, and you have no spikeweed, just burrow and don’t move in order to outlast him. :)
