As an Illaoi main i can give a small tip with anti heal vs Illa OI, Bramble vest is not that good vs a decent Illaoi since it doesnt apply if you are hitting the spirit (E Ghost). This means that as long as illaoi is not W or AA you directly shes not recieving the anti-heal

Best champions that are easy vs her, I recommend mordekaiser and gwen the most because they are ap so she cant buy frozen gauntlet and they have tools to ignore a large part of her kit and shred her high hp. Twisted fate is a good one as well because he can't really be all inned ever by illaoi especially when running ghost fleet and he can trade from range letting him free scale TL;DR, Gwen, morde, tf are really good easy illaoi counters

I used to main illaoi. Yorick and Gwen are dodge/bans and completely dumpster illaoi. If I had to pick any champion it would Yorick bceause there is no counterplay whatsoever. Other lseser counters are vayne, quinn, teemo, cassio, tryndamere, akshan. Good illaoi players can beat Mordekaiser, but is difficult and the window of opportunities are very low, so for that reason mordekaiser can also be considered a counter.

As a gwen player, don't build full tank, it is exactly what we want, so you're playing a champion like mundo, build items like titanic and stuff, try your best not to get hit by the Q center, as it is the most damaging part of your kit(late game it deals like, 40% max health true damage). If you're playing a champion with any sorts of skillshots, use them to farm, if your playing defensively, most gwens will try to poke you the whole lane. Some champions that work good against gwen are aatrox, tryndamere, illaoi in some cases, renekton. Some good picks are scaling and/or ranged champions, gwen's w lasts for only a bit and has about 26 sec cooldown if it has 1 point in it. Whenever im against gwen, i personally pick veigar if my team comp allows it

Go for long trade against camille with almost every champ u win in long trades and try to be far from walls. Against Gwen if she use her Q then instantly try to trade the next 4/5 seconds cause she have her Q in cooldown and without Q her damage isn't a problem before lvl6. If she have lvl6 then it is a stats check, with champions like darius u can win but if u have for example Illaoi just try to dodge (u have to dodge with every champ of course, but with some of them u have to focuse more on dodging than hitting) there's not counter play to gwen more than dodging if u are a melee xd. There's not much counter for gwen, it is a skill matchup with almost everyone u have to dodge as much as possible, the only "counter" to her is ranged champs like Quinn, gnar and akshan she have big troubles against them.

Might depend on the champ too. As Riven, I prefer to build straight into my first item as Illaoi typically rushes armour vs me and i only have flat damage. When she has Tabis and my item isn't complete yet, i might choose to avoid trades but once i get that item its over for her. I know its a bit easier for my champ and i have lots of dashes but consider whether you really need to rush an early spike item if it delays an even better power spike.

I find it very easily to counter both illaOI and Aatrox is to not fight them in laning phase. Proxy champions can hard countering them like Singed, Rammus... and then in late game, you can just run across them and let them die. What's important is to not giving them too much resources early

Main Illaoi here, Imma drop the best advice against her: just ignore her. Legit, with the changes on bami and how low she moves you can easily proxy her into oblivion until min 14 and she can't do anything about it. If she goes after you she loses 2 waves and if she keeps under tower you'll gain plates and possibly the kill. Best champs for this strat: Garen, Rammus, Sion, Volibear, damn I was destroyed by a proxy Irellia once.

Another tip against Illa oye: A good Illa oye will be able to finish you from range if she hits her e against you while you're low (or blow your flash) - she can e you, ult in place, kill the spirit and the tentacles that spawn to hit you are basically undodgeable without a movespeed boost or a dash, and at this point you are going to be one tentacle from death what with you already being low and the echoed e damage which will get you even lower. Also, tentacles will finish their current attack if they are killed in the middle of an attack animation, I've gotten quite a few kills off of this

Sounds good on paper but here's the problem. Illaoi's hitbox on e is as notorious as nauts so her missing is unlikely. You cannot simply walk away from Illaoi ESPECIALLY if she has iceborn you are already dead. Gangs will not save you because her raw damage output coupled with the healing means she kills you and your jungler. Finally, if you think that you can simply ignore her think again because demolish and bone plating exists. Also, her counters and their items are nerfed so champs that used to make quick work of her simply don't anymore.

As an illaoi main some advice: buy phage or other components thst give move speed cause it's hard to land e, the fact you. Ms changes when you proc it makes it harder to judge. Wait till the illaoi has spawned a passive tentacle, or kill one so the next spawns, before roaming to help the jungle so she can't get a useful one in a team fight at herald etc If your opponent is playing illaoi and didn't ban morde, morde is an easy win, just every fight wait for her to ult then ult her and she's useless, Also if she misses her e, especially before level 8-9 when the cool down gets low, punish it. If an illaoi misses and doesnt immediately fall back then you can fight. Do not call for ganks - oh illaoi is pushed up under tower we can 3v1? That's what she's been waiting for all game. And learn the timings on the tentacles, but bear in mind during ult they spawn and slam much faster, (if you go empty vessel and are super low (cannot survive one more slam) , if you try to kill the tentacle instead of just dodging (especially if you're melee) sometimes illaoi can ult wherever she is, the tentacle becomes indestructible and will then kill you.

She is a low mobility, low range champion that has no cc. You can pick ranged champion and if you dodge her E she can't do anything. Also, Singed is really good against her. He doesn't requier sticking close to her to deal damage, you can flip her when she ults to get her away from tentacles. She cant use w while grounded so her tentacles are useless and rylai is your core item which helps your team kite her. He also has built in grevious wounds when he ults.

Now for the real guide. Ilaoi is weak at level one in most situations. Use that and don't let her get close to exp. Sacrifice gold from minions and reduce her hp. When you gain 2 lvl to push the wave under the tower and back under the Item or hit it under the tower if you can. Just try to finish off the minions so that the wave returns to you, thanks to which you will kill illaoi Or you will freeze. This method works until level 6. If illaoi can farm until then you have lost

Both of them are early game cheese. Any slows hard counter them. Voli wants to push the wave and kill you under tower so hard fight for wave push and back off if marked. Draven is a lot more obvious than people think. His weakness is that he cannot both push the wave and harass at the same time. All his damage is single target. Force him to choose between his axe and taking free poke constantly. Aim skillshots/cc at his axe markers. If he catches the axe, great free poke, if he drops the axe to save his hp great he does 0 damage. He is both the weakest and strongest adc at the same time, the trick is knowing how to make him fight on your terms since he can never reliability escape.
