Hi everyone,
I’m so happy to have Debora here on my channel in today’s video!
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate her honestly and courage to accept to be in front of thousands of people wearing no makeup.
Deborah red to have acne in her early 20’s and although now she rarely has a pimple on her face, she does struggle with acne scars. Skincare helps a lot but it’s a process. In today’s video I am showing you how to cover acne scars without using loads and loads of foundation or correctors.

I think maybe she didn’t smile so she wouldn’t interfere with the makeup application? Another pro MUA I watch has mentioned that makeup should be applied when the face is at rest. I think Andrea probably asked her to keep her face blank.

This is the best thing, I have learnt. I had cystic acne which has left pits. There is no discoloration just shadows. And yes no foundation covers it, so I don't bother. But never thought of using a glowy powder to reduce shadows.

Hey Andrea...You are a great artist...please help me I have oily skin and I have scars on the centre of my cheek..usually it hides after toning but when I wear makeup I think they are more visible but why after wearing makeup? And which primer should I use ?

I don 't wear makeup often, and was never brave to experiment. And on occasions where I had to wear makeup, I never felt comfortable. Watching your videos made me realize why I never felt comfortable...because I was wearing a mask, something that was not the real me. I still have a lot to learn and at 46, I still want to learn how to put eye shadow :) . Your videos are inspirational and together with Lisa Eldridge's videos, I decided to start my eye shadow experiments, maybe if I am brave enough I will send you pictures on your instagarm. Love your channel. Your model is stunning. I had the same skin issues with the scars depending on where the lighting hits. but with several C02 lasers my skin has Definity did a 180. till this day I stay away from anything that shines on my cheeks I feel like that is a huge NO with people with scares. (my opinion)

Nice to have « normal » models for the make-up. I have rosecea on my cheeks... had laser for 10 years, but it appears again. Now i use only a full coverage foundation on my cheeks with a light hand. And like the French ( i am Belgian) i use a bronzer on applying in 3 with a swipe on my nose and mouth and chin... ( méthode guerlain pour la terracota).., and blush. The picture on my profil is really old: i do my make up really differently now: it is more sophisticated and colorful ... and one the same time more lightweight.
