If you want to save some currency when suffixes cannot be changes with 3 suffixes on the item you can use a wild bristle matron to add a meta-crafted mod to the item, as there is only prefixes open this guarantees the suffixes cannot be changed mod. Wild bristle matrons are normally around 0.7 divines so can save you quite a lot of money, especially when you locked suffixes to scour, and then veiled orb.

0:20: when price checking instead of clicking the crafted mod you should click the hidden button then the empty or crafted mod, also this late in the league you should also click to view offline offers since there isn't a lot of listings 7:37: if you want to go with any of the two spell damage veiled mod, you should block by crafting increased phys dmg basically phys is a larger mod pool (2000 total) than pen (500) if you block pen, it gives you 2x 30% chance to hit, if you block phys dmg it gives 2x 37% chance to hit you are still unlucky to miss 3 times in a row and i get it, i missed a 50/50 veiled prefix slam on my axe 4 times in a row this league 9:42 the total cost displayed is the cost of this specific craft, it's not an average so it might be biased favorably or defavorably fracturing is 1/4 so on average 21.6d the whole essence for cast speed and T2+ crit and reforge is on average 13.3d veiled orb (if blocking correctly) is ~3/4 so on average 16.6d total without the bases and rolling max mana: 51.5d on average ---- wall of text warning i have never crafted this item but on paper this is what i would do : ----- alt roll step 20 bases => 80c T1 mana is ~ 201alt/60augs (put those aside for additional recomb instead of essence spam or regal exalt fracture lottery) Any of the T1 suffixes is ~51alt/11augs (cast speed being the lowest chance, if it hits it's lucky if not no big deal see nexts steps) if it hits any of the desired prefixes or suffixes stop rolling, should be about 1000-1500 alts for 20 of them which is about +150c ----- recomb magic step recomb magic items to get a bunch of 2x suffixes (1/3 chance) + 10 x ~7k gold => ~70k gold ? remove eventual extraneous prefixes (scbc+scour) 2d x 10 / 3 => +7d now you have about 3 0p/2s wands minus the T1 mana that got eventually rolled and you saved ----- mana + cast speed with recombs you'll be probably missing cast speed since it's the rarest one but if you have any magic with cast speed and another one with mana you can recombine easily there's a few things to improve the odds of getting 1p/1s - if magic and free pre/suffix, craft exclusive mod, it forces at least one mod, so you have ~75% chance to keep your desired pre/suffix instead of ~50% - if extraneous pre/suffix present, regal and hope it adds to prefix if you want to keep suffix and vice-versa, scbc+scour unwanted mods or annul if unlucky, multimod to add exlusive mods, eventually beastcraft aspect read the reddit post on updated recombs to understand your odds better especially when doing with rare items if you have two magic with exclusive crafted (1e/1s and 1p/1e), your odds of getting the mana + cast speed want is: -- first pool (prefix or suffix, it's random): 0.67 * 1 / 2 (one mod first pool, wanted one selected) + 0.33 (two mods in second pool) => 66.5% chance for wanted prefix (1 wanted + 1 crafted exlusive OR 1 wanted 0 crafted exclusive) => 66% chance for exclusive (0 wanted + 1 crafted exclusive OR 1 wanted 1 crafted exclusive) -- second pool: 66% (exclusive in first pool forces wanted mod) + 0.33 * 0.665 (no exclusive in first pool, still keeping wanted mod in second with or without exclusive crafted mod) => 87% chance for wanted prefix (1 wanted + 1 crafted exlusive OR 1 wanted 0 crafted exclusive) which makes your odds of success for this recomb 0.665 * 0.87 => 57.8% chances of success in case of failure you only loose one mod, should cost +14k gold on average odds are way more complex with rare items but i think more likely if not even guaranteed when done right, at a much higher currency cost tho so maybe not worth it ------ alternative mana + cast speed with essences if you've been unlucky when alt/aug, roll it using misery => 1/43 chances => +114c annul, on average on a 4mod item it's about 2/4 x 1/3 => 1/6 => 114c * 6 => +684c (taking misery roll base cost, recombs will probably be lower at a gold cost) you might want to split the item here instead of annuling ----- reComBinaTor final step from recomb magic step you have at least 1 to 3 0p/2s (crit base), we'll call it base A from essence roll step or mana cast speed step you have at least 1 (ideally more) 1p/1s (speed and mana), we'll call it base B note: essence crafted cast speed isn't exclusive as it is not an "of the essences" mod base A => multimod + 1 exclusive prefix => +2d base B => multimod + 1 exclusive prefix + 1 exclusive suffix => +2d A: 1e/2s1e B: 1p1e/1s2e notes before proceeding with recomb: - read and understand the reddit post on exclusive mods in recombs - essence cast speed mod isn't an exclusive modifier - even if odds would have given two exclusive mods in a pool, only one will remain - assuming weighting of mods are equals in recombs (probably not, we don't know) - there's a chance your mods gets upgraded by one tier (10%), recombing T2 mods can be worth it instead of trying with only T1 mods - if prefixes contains exclusives => 88% (win) - if prefixes do not contain exclusive => 0.12 * (3/6 * 2/5 * 1/4) => +5% (win) => 93% chance to have your suffixes => chances if prefixes are selected first: 0.576 * 0.72 * 0.93 => 38.5% -- if suffixes selected as first pool: 72% three mods (two mods or less is a loose): 0.72 * (3/6 * 2/5 * 1/4) => 5% -- then prefixes selected as second pool: 10% chance to have 3 mod selected (win) => +10% 52% chance to have two mod selected, 2/3 chance for the wanted prefix to be selected (win) => +34.6% 39% chance to have one mod selected, 1/3 chance for the wanted prefix to be selected (win) => +13% => chances if suffixes are selected first: 0.05 * (0.1 + 0.346 + 0.13) => 2.8% => global chances to have 4 wanted mods: 1/2 * 0.385 + 1/2 * 0.028 => 20.6% 5 * 7k => 35k gold on average if you have crafted 20 bases, you should have enough to have at least one perfect and a few extra that you can resell or try to fracture average cost: 80c + 150c + 70kgold + 7d + 684c + (2d +2d) * 5 + 35kgold => 105k gold and ~26 div

on craft of exile penetration is 15% weighting while chaos or ele dmg is 30% for unveil so its better to block the latter. actually blocking phys might be better kuz it blocks 4 rolls i think? not sure

great vid trying to do this now to craft me a wand. question on the first step before fracturing if you roll T1 mana, but have 5 or 6 mods, should you try to annul down to 4 before fracturing?

yes because rolling T1 mana is way cheaper than a fracturing orb so take anything that improves your odds of fracturing the right mod ideally you want consolation prizes too in the other 3 mods so that you can recoup part of the costs

@@jammuu few things to check: - base is correct (ilvl 85 profane wand) - you have cast speed (from essence) and one crit mod, both are suffixes - you have at least one free prefix AND exactky one free suffix (annul if not) - you are reforging crit (reforge modifiers including one critical mod or something like that) with one exception (which are weird rings, not wands), you can't have more than 3 suffixes on an item and all critical mods (mods with the tag "critical" when you hover while pressing the alt key) on profane wands are always suffixes

I did because we want to clean our prefixes of the ones we dont want because we continue and fill it up. You can always 50/50 annul but if u hit suffixes cannot be changed its another 2 div for nothing haha

Wow you’re breaking expensive items and gambling when you don’t need to. Easy endgame wand recomb. Base lvl 85 white blue if blue with 1 or 2 desired mod. Roll each base magic with t1 desired mod, you want two bases with only 1 and 2 mods, recomb, you should get a 3 mod item. If you only get 2 roll another with lost mod recomb, go for 3 pref, bench 3 crafted mods add mods, viel add block unveil. Use a beast craft to lock mods. This can be done even with full mods. Rushing this but hope you get the idea. It’s a common meta craft tech

Isn't unveiled lightning damage as good as spell damage, since your spells use lightning damage anyways? Why bother re-unveiling for spell damage? Real question here, not sarcasm or something

Even though we do 60% lightning damage we also do 40% cold damage and abit of chaos. So having only lightning would give less of a damage boost then having Spell Damage ,which would help all 3 types.
