There are a couple of tricks to solo the grip one use the follower dungeon (take some armor off as max ilvl doesn't heal as much) and the follower will heal you. As for the catching the orbs one if you go to the proving grounds (legion barracks) each time you start the event it resets the 5min cool down so you don't need to wait just cancel the event after each catch and restart it, will save some time.

3 tips I had: 1. Do the Emerald Frenzy and tag each of the rares in there. You can get several rares in a short time. 2. For the part that spits out the flames and you have to use the Elemental whatevers. Go to the Proving Grounds in Pandaland. Do the thing you need to do to get the items. Go into the proving grounds and immediately quit them. It will reset your debuff and get rid of the 5 min CD. 3. For the Superbloom part, join a raid and complete it as normal. As soon as you loot the last boss, leave the group. You may be phased back to your original phase and can kill/loot the boss again. This didn’t work all the time for me, but I was able to get some extras.

Getting the thing to drop from the boss was a lot more arduous. The rest of the questline was a cakewalk by comparison. Especially if you farmed all the required mats several weeks in advance like I did.

another tip for ppl who have slow pcs, if you want to disable all addons without worrying about having to painstakingly reenabling only the ones you want, an addon called "better addon list" will let you save addon presets so u can just disable all addons for *very* fast load times easily.

If you go to the proving grounds in Pandaria, you can Q pop the book, do the essence then pop the grip. The Grounds won't let you die and it resets both cool downs as soon as you enter into another proving ground.

you can also go into a follower dungeon and unequip all your gear for the grip portion, the damage is % based so the healing follower keeps you up easy. that's what I did for that portion

you can use the rod on old epics like one you have in your bank or in your void storage. i farm nighthold for the mount and i used the epics there and they worked.

It's weird, you're supposed to only be able to use it on Season 3 epic items, but it works on any epic items found during Season 3, including items from ancient sources. Whatever, at least it's easy!

1 Tip is learn enchanting and buy the gear that costs Dragon isles supplys and disenchant if u got a shitload of supplys. That way u get the Resonant crystals worth about 30k on the AH.

hi! might be a dumb question. but you said the 14th kill right. i've killed heroic fryakk 13 times now since starting week 3. tomrrow will be the 14th time i kill it. does that mean i get it tomorrow? or it's after i kill it for the 14th time i'll get it for sure the 15th time

You will have a 100% chance once you've used 14 Greater Embers of Fyr'alath, the pity mechanic for killing Fyrakk but not getting the Legendary-BUT that doesn't include Lesser Embers, which drop from random bosses throughout the raid. No one knows exactly how much the Lesser Embers are worth, if they actually do anything at all. So 15 Heroic kills will be guaranteed, absolutely. Your 14th kill should be a 50-50 shot, either it drops or it doesn't! =)

The miniboss spawns in the Emerald Frenzy are based on kills in the area, so if more players are around and killing monsters, they will spawn more often. Try finding a group in the Custom or Quest sections of the group finder!

I play on an oce server and I was joining US superbloom and a few times I would kill the final boss of the superbloom, loot the dreamleaf, and then leave group and it would hop me back to oce where the boss was still up and I got a second loot of dreamleaf off the boss. Really sped up the superbloom part.

I had no idea how log this crafting thing was. I thought it was 10 minutes quest chain. Few weeks back I gave up on getting it and stopped killing Fyrakk altogether but now even if it drops I literally will not do these quests.

They should at least make this a 100% drop in season 4. There isn't enough time to get it before the new expansion, and high lvl key groups aren't going to take you if you don't have the legendary, and they're right because the dps difference is very noticeable.

Found out that I do not even have enough gold to pursue ....spent 100K on each my 5 Alts for Dreambound Augment Rune....I wish I could re sell the item. what a bunch of cry babies.... i want a LEGENDARY with no effort involved... i got the axe on my 15th heroic kill. yes it is 100% worth the raid grind and quest grind to get it. the dps increase is awesome. i will warn those of you dedicated gamers that do go ahead and get the axe. the main dps from it is the dot. to make this dot hit like a truck, your crit has to be above 30%. for those of you who play fury warrior like myself know that crit is the lowest on our secondary abilities. I found that with the axe and the Augary of the primal trinket. jack your crit up drop some vers, haste or Mastery and your damage will sky rocket. the 2 passive dots together will be in the top 4 damage abilities. great guide with good information.

Im working on the dreamleaf, I’ve got 132/200… I sunk about 200K gold on mats for the crafting orders. I’m so close!!! My friends will help me today to finish up with the buff for the superbloom event. The rare farming went quick on a low pop server but still took about 6 hours to farm and did that between superbloom.
