I don’t believe mythic crafting is a DLC feature. Meaning no, you don’t!

When you get the runes and craft the item, does it craft with ancestral, is it random, or will it always be base non ancestral?

Always ancestral, but it’s random which affix gets the GA. You have a chance of getting all the affixes GA, though!!! Hope that helps :)

Be honest, I did run out of the „blue“ low runes. Also they sell for same as legendary „orange“ ones
